W artykule omówiono przypadki, w których obowiązujący wskaźnik oceny stanu zagrożenia pożarem endogenicznym w otamowanej przestrzeni lub zrobach jest niewystarczający. Przedstawiono wpływ oceny zagrożenia opartej na określeniu temperatury zrobów w miejscu samozagrzania na podejmowanie decyzji o wznowieniu przewietrzania. Omówiono metodę gazów istotnych, jako jedną z trzech najnowszych metod umożliwiających określanie temperatury zrobów w miejscu samozagrzania lub pożaru.

The paper discusses those cases, for which the safety coefficient that is obligatory applicable and reflects the level of hazard from endogenous fire within the area surrounded by stopping dams is still insufficient. The effect of the hazard level evaluation based on determining the temperature of goaf in the place of rock mass self-heating on making decision about restoring ventilation process is presented. The method of essential gases is presented, as it is one of three methods that make it possible to determine temperature of goaf in the pleace of rock mass self-heating or a seam in fire.
