Przeprowadzono badania wpływu zmienności gatunkowej i odmianowej pszenicy i owsa na parametry brykietów uzyskiwanych metodą zwijania za pomocą brykieciarek walcowych. W wyniku badań stwierdzono, że tą metodą uzyskuje się brykiety z niepociętej słomy o wysokim współczynniku trwałości (Ψ=0,90-0,92) i powtarzalnej, wysokiej gęstości właściwej (objętościowej) dla zbliżonej we wszystkich przypadkach energochłonności procesu (Ejo=0,0779-0,0848 kWh*kg-3).

One of the methods the high-compaction straw is briquetting whole stalks in cylindrical roller brquetting maschnes. For energy production purposes can be used for practically all types of straw cereals. Differences existing between them provoking question about the differences in the course and the briquetting process parameters and the parameters of obtained briquettes. The paper icludeed attempts to explain this issue. The results of these tests for the various varieties of two types of cereals (wheat and oats) briquetted with the method of the carling, lead to the conclusion that it is possible to use this method for compacting uncut straw cereals, in effect, to give briquettes with high stability(Ψ=0,90-0,92), reproducible, high (volume) density for a similar intensity in all cases the process (Ejo=0,0779-0,0848 kWh*kg-3).

Wykorzystanie słomy jako paliwa, w postaci brykietów, dla kotłowni małej mocy jest w Polsce niewielkie w porównaniu z ilością słomy zbożowej produkowanej przez gospodarstwa rolne. Tradycyjna metoda tworzenia brykietów z pociętej słomy jest kosztowna i energochłonna. Zaproponowana konkurencyjna metoda zagęszczania nie pociętej słomy metodą zwijania jest procesem energooszczędnym. Przedstawiono wyniki badań eksperymentalnych zagęszczania słomy pszennej wspomnianą metodą.

The utilization of straw as fuels, in the form of briquettes, for the boiler room of low power is in Poland not great to a quantity of the cereal straw produced by Polish farms. The traditional method of he creation of briquettes from cut-up straw is expensive and energy-consuming. Proposed competitive method of the inspissation of cut-up straw by method of curling is an energy-saving process. The paper presents experimental findings on the inspissation of wheat straw.
