Autorzy stawiają pytanie: Czy zmiany ustrojowe i realia gospodarcze wpłynęły istotnie na zmianę profilu nastawień kierowniczych? Badania były prowadzone od 1994 do 2011r. wśród uczestników studiów podyplomowych. W badaniach wzięło udział 1894 osoby. W okresie obejmującym lata 1994-2008 nie stwierdzono istotnych zmian w strukturze profilu nastawień. Kluczowym momentem okazał się rok 2009. Autorzy stawiają hipotezę, że zmiany generacyjne były głównym czynnikiem zmian profilu stylów kierowania. Większość badanych po 2008r., to tzw. generacja "X". Są to osoby urodzone w końcu lat 70. i w latach 80. XX wieku, mocno zintegrowane z organizacją, gotowe poświęcić się dla kariery, z dużą determinacją oczekujące na awans.

Authors ask, if the economical and political changes influenced on the changes in managers attitudes towards theirs subordinates. The researches have been carried on from 1894 to 2011 among the participants of postgradued studies. In researches took part 184 persons. This are the results of researches: In the first period (1994-2008) there are no significant changes in managers behavior. The crucial point is 2009 year. It lead authors to the hypothesis, that the change of generation was the main factor of the changes in the profile of management style. Most of the respondents reviewed after 2008 year, they were the generation "X". They were the persons born in the end of 70th and in 80th, closely integrated with organization, strongly dedicated to their work and career.
