The interest in organic farming, due to the increasing demand for food free of residues of plant protection chemicals, mineral fertilizers and heavy metals, is getting bigger and bigger. However, it should be remembered that in addition to avoiding the use of chemical methods for plant protection and care, as well as growth stimulators and antibiotics in animal breeding, it is also important to reduce the negative effects on the natural environment. Therefore, the use of energyefficient machines, which additionally do not pollute the environment excessively, is one of the elements of organic farming. In recent years, the issue of reducing nitrogen oxides and particulate solids emitted by engines in agricultural tractors is considered more and more rigorously. The aim of this study was to analyze motor agricultural machines used in farms in Krotoszyn County in terms of exhaust emission standards. The researches covered 30 randomly selected farms, in which 12 agricultural tractors were used. Analysis of the results showed that the majority of tractors used in agriculture in Krotoszyn County do not meet any exhaust emission standards and that these machines are obsolete.

Zainteresowanie rolnictwem ekologicznym, dzięki coraz większemu popytowi na żywność wolną od pozostałości środków ochrony roślin, nawozów mineralnych i metali ciężkich jest coraz większe. Należy jednak pamiętać, ze poza unikaniem stosowania chemicznych metod ochrony i pielęgnacji roślin oraz stymulatorów wzrostu i antybiotyków przy chowie zwierząt, ważne jest również ograniczenie wywierania negatywnych skutków na środowisko naturalne. Dlatego jednym z elementów rolnictwa ekologicznego jest stosowanie energooszczędnych maszyn, które dodatkowo nie zanieczyszczają nadmiernie środowiska. W ostatnich latach coraz bardziej rygorystycznie podchodzi się do kwestii ograniczania tlenków azotu i cząstek stałych emitowanych przez silniki w ciągnikach rolniczych. Celem pracy była analiza silnikowych maszyn rolniczych użytkowanych w gospodarstwach rolnych powiatu krotoszyńskiego pod kątem norm emisji spalin. Badaniami objęto losowo wybranych 30 gospodarstw rolnych, w których użytkuje się 112 ciągników rolniczych. Analiza wyników wykazała, że większość ciągników w badanych gospodarstwach nie spełnia żadnych norm emisji spalin i są to maszyny przestarzałe.

The research analyzed the functioning of the agricultural machine engineering enterprises in Vinnytsia region in view of their financial state. Their grouping was conducted depending on the efficiency of their activity. The ranking score of the enterprises was composed following a number of the set factors – factor maneuvering, total solvency ratio, directly invested capital turnover ratio, rate of return on sales of products and rate of return on invested capital of the company. As a result of this analysis strengths and weaknesses were identified of the enterprises of agricultural machine engineering. They were divided into three groups: the first group were companies with the poor financial state, the second - companies that operate unstably and the third - the enterprises which develop its potential. It was revealed that there was no change in the rating, indicating the absence of sharp decay and lack of sharp growth. It was proved that the development of agricultural machine building enterprises of Vinnytsia region is not uniform: on the one hand, there are companies that develop, get modernized and adapt to new conditions, on the other hand - there are businesses that either do individual orders or rent their space for rent, which undoubtedly indicates their complete degradation. Thus, the analysis of our group of companies allowed to further ensure the substantial differentiation of agricultural engineering enterprises of Vinnytsia region in terms of opportunities and their activities. A number of identified trends allowed to form a clearer picture of state enterprises. It is shown that the efficiency of business management to some extent can be displayed using a comprehensive integrated approach to assessing the financial condition.

Jakie kryteria musi spełniać produkt aby był atrakcyjny z punktu widzenia decyzji o jego implementacji? Próbą odpowiedzi na tak postawione pytanie, jest niniejszy artykuł, w którym w oparciu o wiedzę teoretyczną, wywiady bezpośrednie prowadzone z menedżerami zakładów wytwórczych, jak i w wyniku własnych doświadczeń zawodowych, uznano za zasadne przedstawienie zestawu kryteriów, w którym złożoność produktu to jeden z podstawowych czynników świadczących o jego atrakcyjności, zwłaszcza w kontekście decyzji implementacyjnej. W kontekście powyższego, przyjęto, że im produkt jest bardziej złożony, tym większa możliwość pogłębiania wskaźnika głębokości wytwarzania poszczególnych jego podzespołów, co przejawia się większą możliwością „odchudzania” produktu złożonego pod względem kosztów jego wytwarzania. Wysokiej jakości produkt czy jego „odchudzona” wersja? Niejednokrotnie niełatwy wybór. Warto podkreślić, że dokonanie przez firmę wyboru, czy jej produkt ma być niskiej, czy też wysokiej jakości, jest sprawą marketingowej strategii. Producent może zaoferować niższej jakości, aczkolwiek tańszy produkt lub produkt wyższej jakości, generujący przeważnie niższe marże. W pierwszym przypadku producent wytwarza dużo i sprzedaje tanio. W drugim przypadku produkcja jest niekiedy mniejsza. Jaką drogę należy kreować i wybierać? Właśnie „odchudzone” produkty wysokomarżowe dające ponadprzeciętne zyski ze sprzedaży, mogą być i z pewnością są stymulatorem rozwoju przedsiębiorstwa i wpływają na stosunkowo szybki wzrost jego wartości. W publikacji za zasadne uznano zaprezentowanie zestawu kryteriów dotyczących atrakcyjności produktu rozpatrując z punktu widzenia wytwórcy działającego w sektorze mechanizacji rolnictwa.

Which criteria must a product meet so that it would be attractive from the point of view of its implementation? This article is an attempt to answer the stated question. The authors based their article on theoretical knowledge, direct interviews with managers of manufacturing plants and their own work experience. They considered it justified to present a criterion which is complexity of choice as a domain influencing its attractiveness from the point of a future manufacturer’s view.

The article presents the derivation of formulas for calculating the length of the sector and transit times of working machines at the edges of a rectangular plot. Working width of machines and the width and length of the patch were taken into account. This article is the first in a series devoted to the influence of the path length and the transit times on the edges of plots upon the decrease of net profit in agricultural farms.

W pracy przedstawiono usługi maszynowe, które świadczyły i z których korzystały w 2007 roku wybrane gospodarstwa rolne położone na Dolnym Śląsku. Dokonano analizy korzyści wynikających z tej formy mechanizacji. Stwierdzono że świadczone usługi o charakterze międzysąsiedzkim nie stwarzają pełnych możliwości uzyskiwania zakładanych korzyści ekonomiczno-organizacyjnych.

The paper presents services provided with machines, which were offered and used in 2007 by selected farms located in Lower Silesia. The researchers analysed benefits of this mechanization form. It has been observed that provided neighbourly services do not ensure full potential as regards acquiring assumed economic and organisational benefits.

There exist differentiated direct and indirect interrelationships among the farm mechanization, natural environment and the effects of economic and social character in agriculture and on the rural areas. These factors determine the role and place of mechanization in the process of sustainable development in agriculture. They should be taken in consideration at analyses and choice of production systems and agricultural production technology.
