The article presents results of comparative research of shearing strength of aluminum alloys single-lap adhesive bonded joints. Application in aerospace industry was the main criterion of material selection. Results of static shearing strength of single-lap adhesive bonded joints for different variations of material preparing (mechanical cleaning and ozonization) were analyzed. The paper ends with conclusions.

Since more than 60 years GEIGER is designing and manufacturing specific machinery and equipment for the mechanical cleaning of sewage, sea and river water. Due the strict environmental legislation and directives on one hand the screening of the water is a very significant primary treatment step. On the other hand the pumps, condensers and pipes within power plants, desalination plants and pumping stations must be protected against damages. Modem sewage treatment plants are equipped with the Climber Screen, pin rack operated, which has become a trade market product. Water intakes consist of different types of screening machines either cable operated as Straight Bar Screen with Grab Cleaner, Stationary or designed as Traversing Trash Rake serving for several intake channels or chain operated as Revolving Chain Screen designed with buckets for jelly fish removal or Travelling Band Screen with roof shaped panels for efficient fine screening. The electrical corrosion protection system as well as stop logs and control equipment round off the range of products.

W artykule przestawiono najczęściej stosowane metody oczyszczania przewodów wentylacyjnych. Omówiono dwa sposoby usuwania zanieczyszczeń pyłowych; mechaniczne czyszczenie za pomocą szczotek obrotowych oraz czyszczenie za pomocą powietrza sprężonego dostarczanego przez dysze. Opisano także zastosowanie dysz do napryskiwania na wewnętrzną powierzchnię przewodów wentylacyjnych preparatów biobójczych, tzw. biocydów, zwalczających namnożone wewnątrz instalacji kolonie grzybów oraz bakterii.

The most often applied methods for cleaning the ventilation duels were presented in the article. Two procedures of dust removing were described: mechanical cleaning with the help of rotational brushes and cleaning with the help of compressed air supplied through nozzles. The application of nozzles for splashing the bio preparations, so called biocides on the inner surface of ventilation ducts fighting with fungus colony and bacteria multiplying inside the system, was also described.
