Państwowy wzorzec jednostki kąta płaskiego, znajdujący się w Głównym Urzędzie Miar, tworzą dwa stanowiska pomiarowe. Przeprowadzona w ostatnich latach modernizacja objęła jedno z tych stanowisk. Zakupiono nowe przyrządy pomiarowe, zmieniona została także metoda pomiaru. Modernizacja umożliwiła rozszerzenie zakresu usług wykonywanych na stanowisku państwowego wzorca oraz znaczne zmniejszenie wartości niepewności pomiaru. Przed wprowadzeniem do eksploatacji zmodernizowanego stanowiska wykonano szereg badań, wynikiem których było m.in. określenie składowych budżetów niepewności i ich wartości, zarówno dla pryzm wielościennych, jak i dla płytek kątowych przywieralnych. Na przełomie 2008 i 2009 roku na zmodernizowanym stanowisku wykonane zostały pomiary wzorców kąta w ramach porównań międzynarodowych SIM.L-K3/2008. Udział w porównaniach międzynarodowych, zakończony wynikiem pozytywnym, jest warunkiem koniecznym do dokonania zmian w tabeli CMCs.

The National Measurement Standard of Plane Angle Unit, which is located in the Central Office of Measures, consists of two measuring stations. Recently the station for reproducing the round angle has been modernized. The new measuring instruments were bought and the measuring method was changed. After modernization, the uncertainty of measurements is smaller and not only optical polygons could be measured with it. Before introducing into service, many investigations had been done. They allowed to determine, among others, the components, with the values, of the uncertainty budgets for measurements of optical polygons and angle gauges. In December 2008 and in January 2009 the measurements of one optical polygon and four angle gauges were done within the international project SIM.L-K3/2008. Taking part in such intercomparisons, with positive results, is necessary for changing the data in the CMCs table.

In Poland the radioactive contamination of the environment and food has been controlled since the early sixties by the Service for Measurements of Radioactive Contamination (SPSP). The Service comprises a network of measuring stations and the Centre of Radioactive Contamination Measurements (COPSP). Actually, there are 100 measurement stations. The main task of such station is systematic measurement of radioactivity level in samples of environment components and food. Nine stations of SPSP acting within meteorological stations, ten stations of low level air radioactivity measurements (Aerosols Sampling Stations ASS-500) and eleven permanent monitoring stations (PMS) form the radiation monitoring warning system in Poland.
