This paper focuses mainly on performance analysis for three biogas stations situated within the territory of the Czech Republic. This paper contains basic details of the individual biogas stations as well as description of their types. It also refers to the general description of the measurement gauge involved, with specifications of its potential use. The final part of this paper deals with the analysis of course data obtained, with special regard to voltage, current, active power and reactive power data.

Artykuł opisuje aplikację bazodanową – część systemu COOL's – która zajmuje się akwizycją, przechowywaniem i udostępnianiem informacji o stanie zwałowisk odpadów powęglowych. Podczas implementacji wspomnianych modułów zastosowano ciekawe i możliwe do adaptacji rozwiązania związane z pobieraniem danych z urządzeń pomiarowych oraz przechowywaniem ich w uniwersalnej strukturze bazy danych.

This article show the database application – part of the system COOL's – that collects, stores and publishes the data about the state of coal waste dumps. This application implements the adaptive and scalable model of acquisition of data from different devices. Also the universal model of different type/domain/unit values representation is in the database.

The problem of quality of laboratory test results is essential in the context of their future application for example in machine design. Usually quality of test results means their reliability. To achieve it laboratories often tend to accredit their tests in national accreditation bodies. For example in Poland PCA (Polish Centre for Accreditation) is the national governmental body that controls the process and states that a laboratory fulfills the requirements of the PNISO/ IEC 17025 standard. To fulfill the requirements means to introduce a lot of effort in technical and organizational areas of activity. In order to help and support such activities the attempt of elaboration of computer aided accreditation software is being developed. One of the key issues of the problem is to maintain measurement processes on the proper level. Measurement database can be a useful tool at the initial stage of accreditation activities. The paper presents its assumptions with reference to the management system.
