Przed współczesnym rolnictwem stoją ogromne wyzwania. Z jednej strony w szybkim tempie wzrasta liczba ludności na świecie, z drugiej zaś kurczy się powierzchnia upraw. Jak zatem zapewnić niezbędną ilość pożywienia jak najlepszej jakości? Kluczem do sukcesu w tej dziedzinie może być szeroko pojęte rolnictwo precyzyjne, dzięki któremu możliwe staje się zwiększenie plonów, przy jednoczesnym racjonalnym wykorzystaniu środków produkcji.

The emerging trends in the automation and autonomization of agricultural machines are mainly the result of the development of other sectors of the national economy and the defense industry. The paper presents requirements for autonomous technologies related to positioning systems, wireless communication, communication on the machine, and data transmission in the aspect of development of agricultural machines for field works. Limitations and challenges for introducing autonomous systems in agricultural machines for field works were also discussed.

The subject of the study, which is a preparatory study, is the determinants of the selection of technological resources. The research was conducted from the perspective of small, medium and large enterprises producing agricultural machinery. The fundamental aim of the research is to answer the following questions: what factors - from the point of view of agricultural machinery manufacturers - are important and determine the choice of selected means of production, and which of the above may constitute the basis for assessment in the perspective of the maturity of their suppliers? Achievement of the main objective required formulation and implementation of partial objectives, which included: a) Determination of the importance of production means and their impact on the production process; b) Using the method of reconstruction and interpretation of the literature on the subject - nomination of factors taken into account in the selection of production means; c) Compilation of the list of desiderata constituting the foundation of the research tool in the form of an evaluation sheet being the resultant of literature exploration and discussion among deliberately selected experts related to the agricultural machinery sector. Specified applications have become a substrate defining the proper direction of further research (assessment of the significance of requirements), the results of which will be presented in the next part of the study.

One of the most serious attempts to answer the question about the future shape of the socio-economic order after 1989 is the social teaching of John Paul II. According to the Pope, the fundament of every economical system should be the personal principium, according to which "the basic virtue of work is the human himself". In the light of this criterion John Paul II brings about the assessment of capitalism and communism. This article is an attempt of presentation the evaluation and the main elements of Pope’s positive vision of socio-economic order.

Jedną z najbardziej poważnych prób odpowiedzi na pytanie o przyszły kształt porządku społeczno-gospodarczego po 1989 r. jest społeczne nauczanie Jana Pawła II. Według Papieża, fundamentem wszelkiego systemu ekonomicznego jest principium personalne, zgodnie z którym „podstawową wartością pracy jest sam człowiek”. W świetle tego kryterium Jan Paweł II przeprowadza ocenę kapitalizmu i komunizmu. Niniejszy artykuł jest próbą prezentacji tej oceny oraz głównych elementów papieskiej pozytywnej wizji ładu społeczno-gospodarczego.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań ankietowych wśród użytkowników gospodarstw rolnych o powierzchni od 10 ha do ponad 50 ha dotyczące zaopatrzenia w bezpośrednie środki produkcji. Stwierdzono, że wszyscy użytkownicy kupują zarówno nawozy mineralne, jak i kwalifikowany materiał siewny, chociaż w skali kraju nawozy kupuje 80% rolników, a kwalifikowany materiał stanowi tylko 10% ogółu wysiewanego ziarna. Stwierdzono również, że użytkownicy gospodarstw podczas oceny jakości obsługi dostawców na pierwszym miejscu stawiają kryterium cenowe, na następnych warunki płatności i jakość produktu, a na ostatnich miejscach - obsługę online, warunki reklamacji i elastyczność.

The paper presents results of a survey among users of farms with an area of 10 ha to more than 50 hectares for the procurement of direct means of production. It was found that all the customers buy both fertilizers and certified seed, though on a national scale fertilizer buys 80% of farmers, and certified material represents only 10% of the total seed rate. It was also found that users of farms during the evaluation of the quality of service providers give priority to the price criterion, on the following terms of payment and the quality of the product, and on the last positions - the online service, conditions complaints and flexibility.

The coal mining sector uses vast resources and the efficient management of these resources is a major determinant of coal production efficiency. The paper outlines the underlying principles of an integrated information system supporting the decision-making in the field of management of the company’s means of production. The conditions are defined that the system ought to satisfy, with the main focus on the supporting of mining operations planning as the distribution and location of the means of production.

Górnictwo węgla kamiennego angażuje znaczną ilość środków produkcji, którymi optymalne zarządzanie w sposób istotny wpływa na efektywność procesu wydobywczego. W pracy przedstawiono zasady budowy zintegrowanego systemu informatycznego wspierającego podejmowanie decyzji w zakresie zarządzania środkami produkcji. Sformułowano warunki, jakie winien spełniać proponowany system. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na wspomaganie planowania robót górniczych jako miejsc pracy środków produkcji.
