This study provides a comparative analysis of natural nanosilica (NSn), which is an extract of natural silica sand processed into nanosilica with commercial nanosilica (NSc) derived from semiconductor industrial waste, in 80 MPa high performance concrete (HPC). The percentage of using nanosilica is (3%, 5%, 10%, 15%) by weight of cement used directly and combined with 5% silica fume. Analysis was carried out through compressive strength test, durability through permeability test, rapid chloride penetration test (RCPT), and microstructure test through scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results of the analysis show that natural nanosilica is equivalent to commercial nanosilica, in applications it is better to use silica fume incorporation. The optimum percentage of using NSn10% and (SF) 5%, while 5% NSc and 5% SF, in these proportions shows the best compressive strength and durability. It’s just that the use of natural nanosilika is 5% more than commercial nanosilika. The benefit of this research is that natural materials such as silica sand with high SiO2 content, can be processed into nanosilica as an advanced material, which can be used as an eco-friendly construction material.

The aim of this paper is to illustrate what is happening at present in Serbia through the analysis of traditional Serbian construction, i.e. the technique and the conditions under which it was created. However, as the reality of the subject is quite cruel in today's time, this paper seeks to show the value of the principles on which traditional architecture rests, primarily through the use of natural materials in construction. The reason for this is the inextricable link between man and nature, the very essence of their interconnectedness, as well as the creation of a healthy, aesthetically valuable and quality living space. Based on these analyses, many conceptual solutions will be attached, i.e. the proposal of contemporary interpretation of certain traditional Serbian houses that can meet the needs of modern man and age, where old tradition is implemented in contemporary Serbian architecture.

W artykule przedstawiono daleki od standardów przyjętych aktualnie w Europie sposób budowy domu mieszkalnego. Okazuje się, że nie dysponując współczesną „europejską” technologią, można zbudować tanio i w sposób ekologiczny dom perfekcyjnie dostosowany do środowiska, w którym będzie on eksploatowany. Przedstawiono pozornie prymitywne, a jednocześnie nowoczesne rozwiązania stosowane przez afrykańskie plemię Masajów.

The paper presents a method of building a dwelling house, which is far from the standards currently adopted in Europe. It turns out that without modern “European” technology it is possible to build a cheap and ecological house, perfectly adapted to the environment in which it will be used. In the paper seemingly primitive and at the same time fascinatingly modern solutions, used by the African tribe of Maasai, are presented.

W ostatnich latach w budownictwie rozwija się trend ekologiczny, który na celu ma wykorzystanie materiałów naturalnych. Materiały te mogę być zarówno pochodzenia roślinnego, jak i zwierzęcego. Taki model ekobudownictwa nie wymaga wysokich nakładów energii na produkcję i przyczynia się do rozwoju energooszczędnych inwestycji, które spełniają aktualne wymagania techniczne. Tego typu wyroby postrzegane są jako zdrowe oraz tanie, w wielu wypadkach dostępne lokalnie. Ponadto powyższe rozwiązania materiałowe mogą mieć znaczący wpływ w nowoczesnym budownictwie z racji wzrostu cen tradycyjnych wyrobów budowlanych oraz z powodu oszczędności energii w trakcie budowy, jak i podczas użytkowania inwestycji.
