The algebraic formulae, determinative the active mass of the high explosive (HE) into the wedge shaped charge have been derived in the presented paper. Influence of the casing and liner inertia of the wedge cumulative warhead as well as of the liner shape on the active mass of the HE have been analysed. The presented simple formulae may be used by the engineers at the designing of the optimums shaped charges.

An influence of the hollow cavity shape of the cylindrical cumulative charge for its effectiveness of a destruction activity has been analysed in this paper. It is proved that a value of the efficiency coefficient η of the cylindrical hollow charge is determined, among other things, by the dimensions and the shape of the hollow cavity. The values of the efficiency coefficient, for the real hollow charges, are contained within the interval 1/9 ≤ η ≤ 1/5. The maximum active mass of the cylindrical hollow charge is described by the formula: ma=π r₀³ ρe/3, where r₀ is a radius of the cylindrical hollow charge and ρe means a density of an explosive.

W pracy przedstawiono analizę wpływu kształtu wnęki kumulacyjnej cylindrycznego ładunku MW bez wkładki i obudowy na jego sprawność niszczącego działania na przegrodę. Stwierdzono, że współczynnik sprawności działania takiego ładunku może zmieniać się w zależności od kształtu wydrążenia kumulacyjnego, w przedziale (1/9) ≤ η ≤ (1/5). Obliczeniowa masa aktywna takiego ładunku nie przekracza wartości ma=π r₀³ ρe/3.
