Słowo „muda” w języku japońskim oznacza „marnotrawstwo”, czyli wszystko to, co jest niepożądane w procesach produkcji i wspomagających ją. Pojęcie to jest bardzo istotnym filarem w filozofii Lean Management. Muda określa wszelkie działania, czynności oraz rzeczy, które nie wytwarzają wartości dodanej, a są znaczącą stratą dla naszych biznesów.

W artykule dokonano analizy przebiegu procesu dystrybucyjnego w oparciu o znane narzędzia zarządzania wizualnego. W niniejszej pracy zaprezentowano mapę logiczną procesu dystrybucji oraz zestaw map powstałych w wyniku analizy VSM – Value Stream Mapping. Na podstawie graficznego zaprezentowania procesu dystrybucji określono określeno czynności wchodzących w skład procesu, zidentyfikowano hierarchię wykonania operacji, wyszukano powiązań pomiędzy operacjami, określono realizatorów działań. Najistotniejszym jednak wynikiem analizy było zidentyfikowanie i wskazanie obszarów powstawania marnotrwawstwa w procesie, które wymagają doskonalenia.

The paper presents the results of the distribution process analysis based on the well-known visual management tools. This paper presents a logical map of the distribution process and a set of maps resulting from the VSM analysis - Value Stream Mapping. On the basis of a graphical presentation of the distribution process, the number of activities included in the process was determined, the hierarchy of operation execution was identified, relationships between operations were searched, and action providers were identified. However, the most important result of the analysis, was the identification of wastage areas in the process that require improvement.

W przedsiębiorstwach reorganizacja procesu nie jest łatwym zadaniem, gdyż wymusza na osobach ją przeprowadzających spojrzenie na cały proces pod różnym kątem, z każdego możliwego punktu widzenia. Powoduje przez to ciągłe poszukiwanie nowych rozwiązań, które pozwoliłby osiągnąć zamierzony rezultat. W badaniach podjęto próbę przeorganizowania procesu produkcyjnego wykorzystując dane z przedsiębiorstwa, mapowanie całego procesu z uwzględnieniem wymagań klientów. Przeanalizowano rozbudowę stanowisk, dodatkowe zatrudnienie pod potrzeby zmiany cyklu pracy na linii produkcyjnej. Zmiany przedstawiono w postaci proponowanego stany w procesie mapowania. Reorganizacja procesu produkcyjnego pozwoli na utrzymanie stałych klientów w przedsiębiorstwie i pozyskanie nowych.

The businesses reorganization process is not an easy task, since it forces people carrying look at the whole process from a different angle, from every possible point of view. This results in the constant search for new solutions that would achieve the desired result. The study attempted to reorganize the production process using data from the company, mapping the entire process taking into account the requirements of the customers. We analyzed the development of positions, additional employment for the needs of changes in the work on the production line. Changes are shown in the form of the proposed conditions in the mapping process. The reorganization of the production process will allow for the maintenance of regular customers in the enterprise and attracting new ones.

Duże ilości danych, jakie są tworzone w procesach decyzyjnych na różnych szczeblach zarządzania, wymuszają zastosowania technik komputerowych do ich przetwarzania i przesyłania. Dotychczasowe metody polegające na wymianie papierowych dokumentów zawierających określone informacje stają się mało wydajne, nieprecyzyjne i trudne do zrealizowania. Ich miejsce muszą zająć metody elektronicznej wymiany dokumentów i danych. W przedsiębiorstwach usługowych sprawny obieg dokumentów decyduje o poziomie logistycznej obsługi klienta. W artykule podjęto próbę analizy i usprawnienia cyklu prac związanych z organizacją usług w jednostce samorz du terytorialnego, dzi ki wdro eniu systemu obiegu dokumentów.

Huge amounts of data are created in the process of decision making on different levels of management. This situation forces applying of information techniques in processing and data transfer. So far methods relying on paper document exchange become inefficient, imprecise and difficult for realization. They have to be turned into electronic document and data exchange. Thanks to the document circulation system, an attempt of analysis and rationalization of the tasks connected with services organization has been made at local government unit.

Diagnosing corporate stability using grammatical evolution

Grammatical Evolution (GE) is a novel data-driven, model-induction tool, inspired by the biological gene-to-protein mapping process. This study provides an introduction to GE, and demonstrates the methodology by applying it to construct a series of models for the prediction of bankruptcy, employing information drawn from financial statements. Unlike prior studies in this domain, the raw financial information is not preprocessed into pre-determined financial ratios. Instead, the ratios to be incorporated into the classification rule are evolved from the raw financial data. This allows the creation and subsequent evolution of alternative ratio-based representations of the financial data. A sample of 178 publicly quoted, US firms, drawn from the period 1991 to 2000 are used to train and test the model. The best evolved model correctly classified 86 (77)% of the firms in the in-sample training set (out-of-sample validation set), one year prior to failure.

W artykule dokonano podziału procesu odlewania na procesy składowe, przedstawiono również strukturę procesów w systemie zarządzania jakością odlewni żeliwa, powiązania międzyprocesowe oraz dla wybranego procesu sporządzono mapę. Na podstawie wyróżnionych w trakcie mapowania wejść, wyjść procesu oraz czynników determinujących jakość przebiegu poszczególnych czynności produkcyjnych zaproponowano metodę sterowania produkcją odlewów żeliwnych dla uzyskania ich wyższej jakości.

A casting process was divided into part process in the paper. A structure of processes in the quality management system of the examined foundry was introduced. Some interprocess relations were shown, as well as a process map for chosen processes was prepared. On the basis of presented factors: process input, output and the others measurable values, which decide of a quality of the process course, the method of production process control and steering was proposed.
