W referacie przedstawiono wybrane aspekty modelowania zrobotyzowanych komór produkcyjnych w środowisku RobotStudio firmy ABB z użyciem protokołu TCP/IP. Zaprezentowano możliwości tworzenia animacji w środowisku RobotStudio, wykorzystaniem mechanizmu SmartComponent.

The paper presents some aspects of modeling of robotic manufacturing cells in ABB RobotStudio environment using TCP/IP. Authors present the possibility of creating animation in RobotStudio environment using mechanism called SmartComponent.

Implementation of new machines and technology in an enterprise deal with complex technical and organizational problems, therefore methods and tools for computer aided design of new production systems or reengineering of current production systems are required. For solving this problems computer simulation can be used. In the article model of robotized workcell is described. Analyzed workcell consists of two robots and four CNC machines and other workplaces responsible for transport, storage and control. Model was elaborated in visual object oriented simulation software Enterprise Dynamics. Results of some simulation experiment are presented in the article. Utilizations of machines and robots and production flow are analyzed. Workcell model presented in the article is simplified but visual simulation is a modeling-based problem solving approach that fundamentally changes the way for designing a robotic workcell and other production systems.
