Technologies used in creating decentralized companies' models must evolve to be more flexible. The active agent is invented as a basic element of which decentralized system can be build. The use of evolution strategies in design of multi-agent systems reveals new possibilities of developing complex software systems. The main objective of this paper was to present the possibility of implementing the general multi-agent system architecture for the management of the business processes. An example of the production system modeled in the view of the agent-based methodology is introduced. New proposal in the area of analyzing and designing the process management system is discussed.
