W artykule przedstawiono proces wprowadzania zmian techniczno-organizacyjnych mających na celu zmianę zasilania części macierzystej KWK „ROW" Ruch Marcel poprzez uruchomienie nowej rozdzielni 6 kV na poziomie 800. Podstawowymi przesłankami realizacji przedmiotowej inwestycji były konieczność zwiększenia mocy na poziomie 800 oraz poprawa bezpieczeństwa zakładu górniczego.

This article presents the process of modernisation of the 6 kV power supply system for the underground portion of the Marcel Section of the "ROW" coal minę via construction of a R-801 double busbar substation, which allowed for a power increase at level 800 in the primary and Marklowice parts of the minę. The fact that there are no shafts exploited up to level 800 in the Marklowice part (shafts in this part are exploited only up to level 400) meant that power supply to mining fronts located in this part of the minę had to be done via excavations in the primary part. The use of a double busbar substation madę it possible to split power take-off between the primary part and the Marklowice part of the minę, increasing its reliability. The "Sauron" remote control and monitoring system was also expanded, and after the power supply system modernisation it covers all underground 6 kV substations in both parts of the mine.

It was presented the main switchboards’ configurations of multi-mode ship power plants. It has dominated dieselelectric propulsion systems. The development of main switchboards has an aim the increasing of power system reliability from main engines, through generators and electrical network to electric motors of main propulsion and dynamic positioning thrusters. This is a way of increasing redundancy and reliability of propulsion system. The superior aim is the fulfillment of DP class 2 and DP class 3 dynamic positioning requirements.

In this paper preliminary and exemplary results are presented of voltage analysis on busbsrs of the main switchboard. Special atention was paid to voltage and its frequency deviation from their nominal values as well as to different voltage waveform distortions. The research cintains measurement results of two electrical power systems: of a ro-ro ship and ferry ship. The analysis was carried out offline on the basis of voltage samples from different states of ship exploitation. This analized electrical power systems and measurement devices are also described.
