Identyfikacja obszarów koncentracji naprężenia w elementach ferromagnetycznych za pomocą metody magnetycznej pamięci

W pracy zaproponowano nowe podejście w diagnostyce konstrukcji ferromagnetycznych. Polega on na systematycznej budowie baz danych magnetogramów dla wybranych rodzajów konstrukcji ferromagnetycznych począwszy od początku ich eksploatacji, a następnie w każdym etapie ich eksploatacji wraz z odniesieniem do próbek wzorcowych. Takie podejście możliwi wykrywanie i identyfikację powstających w konstrukcjach ferromagnetycznych obszarów koncentracji naprężeń oraz rejonów niebezpiecznych z pęknięciami. Na podstawie analizy magnetogramów będzie można podjąć działania zapobiegawcze odpowiednio wcześniej, polegające na wymianie stosownego elementu bądź wzmocnieniu konstrukcji. Skalibrowanie wartości magnetycznych z wartościami mechanicznymi za pomocą metody dyfrakcji rentgenowskiej stanowi nowe podejście w ocenie wytężenia konstrukcji za pomocą badań magnetycznych.

The paper proposes a new approach in the diagnosis of ferromagnetic structures. It involves the systematic construction of databases of magnetograms for selected types of ferromagnetic structures, starting from the beginning of their exploitation, and then at each stage of their exploitation with reference to standard samples. This approach will make it possible to detect and identify emerging stress concentration and hazardous areas with cracks in ferromagnetic constructions. Based on the magnetograms analysis, preventive measures could be taken in advance, involving the exchange of relevant element or strengthening the structure. The calibration of magnetic values with mechanical ones using X-ray diffraction method, represents a new approach in assessing construction effort using magnetic testing.

W niniejszym referacie autorzy podjęli próbę wykorzystania nowego układu firmy ARM oraz skanera 3D do budowy układu diagnostycznego. Ze względu na posiadane laboratorium badania były wykonywane na przekładniach walcowych. Model 3D otrzymany z badań diagnostycznych porównano z wzorcem. Analiza wyników prowadzona była przy wykorzystaniu systemu Inventor oraz Catia. Ponadto podjęto próbę zastosowania metody magnetycznej pamięci materiału do oceny stanu powierzchni.

The paper presents an attempt at using ARM units and 3D scanner to build a diagnostic model. The studies were performed on cylindrical gears due to the existing laboratory conditions. As shown in [1, 2, 3], possible damages which may occur during the element cooperation are fatigue crack propagation, pitting, scoring, etc. As long as the break and scoring immediately exclude the machine from further work at once, its further use will depend on the assessment of pitting. What should be taken into account is the fact that the main aim is to obtain a digital/numerical surface model of the real object as close to the original one as possible. This was achieved by scanning the product surface. The next step resulted in obtaining a discrete object representation in the form of a point cloud (Fig. 3a). By connecting the points with lines, the triangle mesh commonly referred to as a polygonal surface was obtained (Fig. 3b). The method is laden with errors resulting mainly from the measurement precision and adjustment correctness. The wheel model obtained is compared with the model generated by means of the own processor [4]. The material magnetic memory method is used as a new tool for fast diagnosis of machine elements. The method is widely used in industry, e.g. thermal-electric industry. The authors made an attempt at applying the method to determining the surface condition of the cooperating toothed wheels.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań uzębień kół zębatych z wykorzystaniem metody magnetycznej pamięci metalu. Podano kryterium diagnostyczne pozwalające określić występowanie znacznego prawdopodobieństwa uszkodzenia zmęczeniowego uzębienia. Sformułowano kilka hipotez o korelacji własnego pola magnetycznego uzębienia z rozkładem obciążenia na szerokości zęba.

The paper discuses the results of research of gear wheels with use of magnetic memory method. There was given a diagnostic criteria for fatigue flaw similarities within the teeth. Some hypothesis were formulated about the correlation of magnetic self-field and the stress distribution along the teeth.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę wykrywalności metodą pamięci magnetycznej metalu wad materiałowych w oparciu o badania metalograficzne próbek z anomaliami magnetycznymi i ultradźwiękowymi oraz badania materiałów poddanych naprężeniom rozciągającym.

The analysis of defects detection effectiveness by the metal magnetic memory method on the base of metallography tests applied for samples with magnetic and ultrasound anomalies and also samples subjected to stretching tensions is presented in the paper.
