This paper presents the concept of the system for the evaluation of the manufacturability of machine parts and assemblies on the stage of the initial design of the machine. The other development stages were also taken into account. In the introductory stage the quantitative factor of the construction manufacturability was used. On the other stages of the development, the cost of part manufacturing was considered.
