Responsibility for the credibility and quality of an organic product lies with the entrepreneur. It is therefore in the entrepreneur’s interest to recruit competent employees who stimulate the desired behaviours and activities conducive to the achievement of strategic goals connected with production of products with the quality expected by consumers of organic foods. Therefore, it was considered purposeful to analyse the issues of competencies of production workers' in relation to the Robles' set of soft skills. The topics discussed in the study include knowledge, skills, and internal motivation of the employees. A closer examination of the discussed problems was conducted with the example of a corporation X for its branches located in Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania which produce organic flour. The five-point Likert scale was used in the empirical examinations.

Praca stanowi próbę analizy wykorzystania wód dla potrzeb młynarskich na obszarze międzyrzecza Warty i Prosny w XVI wieku. Przy realizacji tego celu wykorzystano zgromadzony materiał archiwalny, w szczególności pozycje książkowe: Tomczak i in. (1961-1978), Rusiński (1955) oraz Sulimierski i in. (1880-1914). Badano głównie występowanie na danym obszarze w poszczególnych miejscowościach młynów wodnych i związanych z nimi stawów. Wyniki prezentujące rozmieszczenie młynów i stawów przedstawiono w postaci graficznej. Przeprowadzona analiza wskazuje na powszechne wykorzystanie w XVI wieku wód międzyrzecza Warty i Prosny dla potrzeb młynarskich. Najwięcej przejawów tej działalności skupia się w południowej części badanego obszaru.

The paper attempts to analyze the use of water for the needs of the milling industry in the interfluvial area between the Warta and Prosna Rivers in the 16th century. Archival material was used for the realization of this project, especially books by Tomczak et al. (1961-1978), Rusiński (1955), and Sulimierski et al. (1880-1914). The study focused mainly on the distribution of water mills in a given area in each settlement and their corresponding ponds. The results presenting distribution of mills and ponds are shown in a graphic form. The analysis showed that in the 16th century, river water was commonly used for the needs of milling industry in the interfluvial area between the Warta and Prosna Rivers. The majority of evidence of this is concentrated in the southern part of the analyzed area.
