W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań organizacji domowej przestrzeni roboczej do pracy z komputerem. Badania dotyczyły młodzieży szkolnej w wieku od 17 do 18 lat uczącej się w Zespole Szkół Administracyjno-Socjalnych w Bytomiu i były przeprowadzane we wrześniu 2009 r. Do badań zastosowano socjometryczne narzędzie w postaci autorskiej ankiety w formie kryterialnego kwestionariusza w układzie matrycowym. Interpretacji wyników dokonano metodą rangowania średnich ważonych z odpowiedzi na poszczególne kryteria analityczne i cząstkowe.

The article presents the results of the organization of domestic work space to work with your computer. The study involved adolescents aged 17 to 18 years studying in Administration-Social School Complex Bytom and were conducted in September 2009 to research is used sociometric tool. Sociometric tool was in the form ofauthors matrix questionnaire. Interpretation of the results was made by method of grading to the analytic criteria and the partial criterion.

Safety and security culture makes the whole of mankind's achievements in the field of security and safety (protection of life and health). It makes a system of meanings through which a particular group of people understands the threats in the world. The feeling of safety is one of the basic human needs, which enables the development of personality, satisfaction with certain aims, and consequently it ensures self-confidence and self estimation. Each social group is characterised by a particular level of safety culture. The research problems discussed in the article concern the issue of shaping safety culture among the school youth, especially defining their attitudes towards the problems of the defence of the state.
