The conducted experiments revealed a significant effect of the solution of the extract from the seeds of bitter lupine on the accumulation of N-NO3(-) in the carrot roots for the objects on which the seeds were sown at the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th fixed dates. The highest decrease in the content of the discussed form of nitrogen caused by the spray with the lupine extract with reference to the control, was found in the carrot roots sown at the 4th and 6th fixed dates. The differences were: 56.8% and 54.1%, respectively. A significant decrease in the content of N-NO3 in the lettuce leaves on the objects sprayed with different dosages of the lupine extract compared with the non-sprayed object varied from 57.3% to 70.9%. The lowest contents of N-NO3(-) were revealed in the plants from the objects sprayed twice with the extract dosages.
