In 2015 the Agenda 2030 was introduced, framed of 17 sustainable development goals (SDG) with 169 targets, which were adopted by the United Nations Member States and should bring prosperity and growth to the global society. In this paper a focus is given to the SDG 12 Sustainable consumption and production from the e-mobility perspective. SDG 12 aims to ensure sustainable consumption and production (SCP) patterns – it is about promoting resource and energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, and providing access to basic services, green and decent jobs, and a better quality of life for all. Many stakeholders from public and private sector are investing a lot of effort to identify consumer behaviour for future improvements in development of their green products and strategies Because sustainable mobility and consequently low emission vehicles (LEV) are closely related with sustainable consumption within the personal mobility this paper focuses on consumer segmentation of potential LEV buyers and their willingness to buy LEV. Results have revealed that the segment of potential alternative fuel vehicles buyers is much larger than we initially anticipated. Such vehicles are, surprisingly, also more attractive for the older population, according to our results.

Polityka transportowa Unii Europejskiej, zakłada ograniczenie negatywnego odziaływania transportu na środowisko. W tym aspekcie podejmowanych jest szereg działań, które umożliwią osiągnięcie tego celu. Jednym z priorytetów w tym obszarze są działania zmierzające do rozwoju zeroemisyjnych systemów transportowych w miejskim transporcie zbiorowym. W artykule, przedstawione zostały wybrane aspekty dotyczące pojazdów niskoemisyjnych i ich wykorzystania w miejskich systemach transportowych. Ponadto przedstawiony został stan rozwoju niskoemisyjnych systemów transportowych w komunikacji publicznej w Polsce, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem systemu w aglomeracji warszawskiej.

The European Union's transport policy assumes limiting the negative impact of transport on the environment. In this aspect, a number of actions are undertaken to achieve this goal. One of the priorities in this area are actions aimed at developing zero-emission transport systems in urban public transport. The article presents selected aspects of low-emission vehicles and their use in urban transport systems. In addition, the state of development of low-emission transport systems in public transport in Poland was presented, with particular emphasis on the system in the Warsaw agglomeration.

Jednym z kluczowych elementów mających wpływ na ulepszenie komunikacji ludzkiej jest system transportu miejskiego. Dostępność i organizacja infrastruktury transportu zdecydowanie wpływa na komfort życia, szczególnie w dużych miastach. W ostatnich czasach dużo mówi się o warunkach transportu i jego negatywnym wpływie na środowisko, a także o wdrożeniu w życie pojazdów niskoemisyjnych. W artykule przedstawione zostały wybrane problemy transportu niskoemisyjnego, jak również omówiono występowanie transportu w wybranych krajach.

The urban transport system is one of the key elements influencing the improvement of human communication. The availability and organization of transport infrastructure definitely affects the comfort of living, especially in large cities. In recent times there is a lot of topics about transport conditions and its negative impact on the environment, as well as about the implementation of low-emission vehicles. The article presents selected problems of low-emission transport as well as the occurrence of transport in selected countries.

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia dotyczące wdrażania pojazdów niskoemisyjnych w transporcie publicznym. Analiza wdrażania pojazdów niskoemisyjnych w transporcie publicznym przeprowadzona została na podstawie badań prowadzonych w Warszawie. Na podstawie wyników badań przedstawiono zasadność, wdrażania pojazdów niskoemisyjnych w transporcie publicznym oraz ich zalety i wady. Przedstawiono również problemy, jakie wynikają z eksploatacji pojazdów niskoemisyjnych.

The article presents selected issues on the implementation of low-emission buses for public transport. Analysis of the implementation of low-emission buses in public transport was carried out on the basis of research carried out in Warsaw. Based on the results of research the legitimacy of implementation of low-emission buses for public transport and their advantages and disadvantages was presented. Also the problems that arise from the operation of low-emission buses were presented.

W dniach 11-12 grudnia 2013 odbyło się w Bremie (Niemcy) seminarium pt. „Procuring Clean Buses. On the way to electric buses – Environmental and operational aspects reflected in the life cycle costing approach?” zorganizowane w ramach projektu „Clean Fleets”. Jest to projekt mający na celu wsparcie władz publicznych i operatorów transportu publicznego w zakresie wdrażania Dyrektywy Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady 2009/33/WE z dnia 23 kwietnia 2009 r. w sprawie promowania ekologicznie czystych i energooszczędnych pojazdów transportu drogowego. W artykule przedstawiono najważniejsze zagadnienia omawiane podczas seminarium.

On 11-12 December 2013 in Bremen (Germany) there was held a seminar „Procuring Clean Buses. On the way to electric buses - Environmental and operational aspects reflected in the life cycle costing approach?”, organized under the project „Clean Fleets”. It is a project supporting the public authorities and public transport operators in the implementation of Directive 2009/33/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 April 2009 on the promotion of clean and energy-efficient road transport vehicles. The article presents the main topics discussed during the seminar.
