Celem artykułu jest prezentacja zagadnień należących do kanonu kształcenia logistycznego oraz dorobku dydaktycznego i naukowego UTH Radom w tym obszarze. Kierunek kształcenia Logistyka został w Polsce formalnie wprowadzony w 2005 roku, a dwa lata później opracowano standard kształcenia dla tego kierunku. W artykule omówiono strukturę i treści kształcenia objęte standardem, a także rozwój kształcenia logistycznego w UTH w Radomiu, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem włączenia logistyki w programy kształcenia inżynierów transportu. Ponadto zaprezentowano dorobek naukowy i popularyzatorski Wydziału Transportu i Elektrotechniki UTH w Radomiu w obszarze logistyki.

The purpose of this article is to present both the issues belonging to the canon of logistics education, as well as the educational and scientific achievements of the UTH Radom in this area. Logistics training course was formally introduced in Poland in 2005, and two years later a standard of education for this field of study was developed. The article discusses the structure and content of education covered by this standard and presents the development of logistics education in UTH in Radom, particularly the inclusion of logistics in transport engineering education programs. Furthermore, scientific achievements and conference activities of the Faculty of Transport and Electrical Engineering UTH Radom in the area of logistics are described.
It is possible for a man to educate himself without any help or support from others. In fact, when we learn the art of self-education (learning how to learn versus how to be taught) we will find, if not create, opportunity to find success beyond our wildest dreams. Self-educated people are not dependent on others for knowledge. If they need a specialized skill, they know how to acquire it without dependence on authority. Unknowingly, people are promoted by their ability to learn new skills fast. The role of self-education has increased rapidly in the last few years.
The aim of the article is to present adaptation of logistics information technology to the state's needs in the knowledge based society. This subject is closely linked to energy management, which must include power generation development models in countries. The essence of the presented considerations is to trigger changes in the reconstruction of the energy infrastructure - activate the PROSUMER value chain.
Nowadays logistics education has a stable position on the education services market. However, the question arises - how did it look before? What is more, customer requirements as well as competition cause that universities search for new solutions and they aim to meet herein requirements. Hereby paper presents a description of logistics education in Poland especially at academies and refers it to results of survey conducted among students.
