Publikacja traktuje o zagadnieniu automatycznego strojenia przemysłowych regulatorów liniowych. Przedstawiono proces projektowania i implementacji systemu zarówno w środowisku symulacyjnym, jak i rzeczywistym. Przeanalizowano wyniki badań porównujących jakość działania układu sterowania przy zestawach parametrów regulatorów otrzymanych różnymi metodami. Jako metodę służącą poszukiwaniu odpowienich nastaw regulatorów wykorzystano technikę optymalizacji rojem cząstek.

The article deals with self-tuning linear industrial controllers. The processes of design and implementation of the system for both simulation model and real plant have been shown. Results of the comparison between control system performances for different controller parameters obtained using different methods have been analyzed. As a method used for searching the best controller parameters the Particle Swarm Optimization technique has been used.

W pracy opisane i przebadane zostały trzy regulatory wykorzystujące strukturę klasycznego regulatora PID: liniowy, rozmyty i neuronowy. Ocena jakości pracy układów sterowania z tymi regulatorami przeprowadzona została na stanowisku laboratoryjnym w układzie sterowania poziomem wody w kaskadzie dwóch zbiorników.

The article describes the three algorithms which are based on the structure of the classical PID controller: the linear controller, the fuzzy controller and the neural network controller. The operation quality of control systems with those controllers was evaluated at the laboratory station during the tests involving a two-tank cascade.

The paper describes a robust two-loop control structure for processes with uncertain nonlinear terms. The structure contains a linear predictive controller in the control loop with the model and in the second loop an additional nonlinear compensator. The plant-model mismatch is neutralized by the additional control signal created from the difference between the model and the plant states.
