Zastosowanie diod elektroluminescencyjnych (LED) w instalacjach oświetlenia pośredniego rozwiązuje wszystkie problemy jakie występują w przypadku świetlówek. Podczas wykonywania symulacji komputerowych instalacji LED, w których obserwator będzie widział źródła światła, należy pamiętać, że otrzymane wizualizacje w ogóle nie oddają problemu olśnienia. Zauważono też znaczne rozbieżności parametrów oświetleniowych w wynikach obliczeniowych otrzymywanych z wykorzystaniem różnych programów oświetleniowych.

The use of light emitting diodes (LED) in the indirect lighting systems solves all problems that occur in the case of fluorescent lamps. When performing computer simulations LED installation in which the observer will see the light source, keep in mind that the resulting visualizations do not reflect the glare problem. Also noted significant differences in the lighting parameters obtained from computational results using different lighting programs.

W artykule omówiono problemy, z jakimi zmagają się projektanci oświetlenia pośredniego. Podczas prób symulacji instalacji oświetlenia pośredniego z wykorzystaniem komputerowych programów oświetleniowych zauważono znaczne rozbieżności w otrzymywanych wynikach. Analiza wyników wykazała ograniczoną przydatność programów oświetleniowych do wykonywania obliczeń instalacji oświetlenia pośredniego.

Indirect lighting in which the observer sees no directly light sources, is attractive both in terms of lighting and aesthetics. The problem is the low efficiency of this type of lighting. During the simulation tests of indirect lighting installations with the use of lighting programs significant differences were noted in the results. Analysis of results showed the limited usefulness of these programs to perform calculations of lighting indirect lighting installations.
