In order to achieve competitive results, the manager must master the skills necessary for subsequent levels of management. In the present study we have verified three hypotheses regarding the correlation between the level of control and efficiency, a form of ownership and influence on the managing level to direct and indirect subordinates. Two of the hypotheses gained the expected level of significance and the third was statistically insignificant.

W prezentowanych badaniach zweryfikowaliśmy hipotezę dotyczącą korelacji pomiędzy poziomem kierowania, a efektywnością kontrolując zmienne pośredniczące w postaci formy własności oraz wpływu poziomu kierowania na bezpośrednich i pośrednich podwładnych.

It is important to determine the optimal level of administrative costs in order to achieve main targets of any enterprise, to perform definite tasks, to implement these tasks and not to worsen condition and motivation of the workers. Also it is essential to remember about strategic goals in the area of HR on the long run. Therefore, the main idea in using optimization model for assessing the effectiveness of management costs will be to find the minimum level of expenses within the given limits.

W artykule zwrócono uwagę na złożoność procesu realizacji strategii w przedsiębiorstwie górniczym. Ze względu na strukturę przedsiębiorstw wielozakładowych wyróżnia trzy poziomy strategii, do których zalicza się: strategia poziomu korporacji, strategie kopalń i zakładów oraz strategie funkcjonalne. Artykuł koncentruje się na obszarach, w jakich realizowana jest strategia na szczeblu kopalni. Prezentuje wyniki badań ankietowych dotyczących ważności tych obszarów w ramach budowy Balanced Scorecard dla niższego szczebla zarządzania. Zawiera propozycję nowych ram modelu karty dla przykładowej kopalni węgla kamiennego.

This paper presents the complexity of strategy implementation in mining companies. Depending on the structure in multi-plant companies, there are three levels of strategy: corporate strategy, mine and plant strategy and functional strategy. The author shows the areas of strategy implementation at the lower level of management (coal mine) and presents the results of surveys concerning the importance of these areas of strategy within the framework of development of the Balanced Scorecard for low-level management. This paper includes a proposal of new areas of the coal’s Balanced Scorecard for the given hard coal mine.

The essence of the method of morphologica analysis of enterprise management organizational structure is described in the article. Setting levels of morphological decomposition and specification of sets of elements are necessary for morphological analysis. Based on empirical research identified factors that influence the formation and use of enterprises management organizational structures.
