Przedstawiono wyniki badań elektroforetycznych i określających właściwości ochronne powłok z lateksów akrylowych.

The results of electrophoretic study and investigation determining protective properties of acrylic latex coats are described. It was found, that when electric current flow across the latex, the stronger association molecules occurs the more carboxylic groups are in copolymer. Decreasing value of gram-equivalent polymer deposit on anode or cathode is the proof of this process. The phenomenon of simultaneous deposition polymer on electrodes is due to forming carboanions and carbocations from the latex molecules. Therefore this latex could not be used to producing paint to electrophoretic painting. Coats received in higher temperature on glass form polymer network and are waterproof.
