Recykling głęboki na zimno z asfaltem spienionym (FB-RCM) to powszechnie stosowana technologia przebudowy dróg. W związku ze zmiennym układem warstw konstrukcyjnych remontowanej nawierzchni drogowej możliwe jest wystąpienie w składzie recyklowanej mieszanki na zimno materiałów odpadowych i z recyklingu, tj. destruktu asfaltowego (RAP – Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement), destruktu betonowego (RC – Reclaimed Concrete) oraz kruszywa naturalnego z recyklingu (RA – Reclaimed Aggregate) o zmiennej ilości.

Foamed Bitumen – Recycled Cold Mix (FB-RCM) is a technology popularly used to rebuild roads. Because the arrangement of construction layers in reconstructed roads is varied, the recycled cold mix may contain waste materials as well as Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP), Reclaimed Concrete (RC) and Reclaimed Aggregate (RA) in varied amounts. The aim of the research was to assess rheological properties of the recycled base with foamed bitumen in terms of the dosage of RAP, PA and PC ranging between 20% and 80% in steps of 20%. The complex modulus was measured at five temperatures (-7ºC, 5ºC, 13ºC, 25ºC, 40ºC) and six loading frequencies (0,1 Hz, 0,3 Hz, 1 Hz, 3 Hz, 10 Hz, 20 Hz). The complex modulus was determined with the use of the Direct Tension-Compression Test on Cylindrical Samples (DTC-CY) in compliance with EN 12697-26 European Standard. The complex modulus (E*), phase angle (φ) and components of the complex modulus (E1) and (E2) were evaluated on the basis of the test results. The conclusion of the study is that waste materials may be potentially utilised as components in cold-recycled asphalt mixes with foamed bitumen without a major impact on mechanical parameters of the mix.
