The purpose of the study described in the work was to evaluate the operating wear of the SANDVIK CV117 centrifugal crusher working in the Melaphyre mine in Grzędy. The research was carried out on work elements, such as the lining assembly, rotor tips, shredder hammers, the directional bushing, and the distributor divider. All components had direct contact with the aggregate, and their operating time was about 1150 hours. The studies included a mine full scale observation, macroscopic analysis of the elements, and an assessment of the impact of exploitation on selected structural properties of the elements material. On the basis of the carried out analyses, it was concluded that the major problem faced by all the tested components is the simultaneous interaction of high friction and impact forces resulting from the kinetic energy of the accelerated grains of the material acquired from the rotor during operation of the crusher.

Celem badań opisywanych w pracy była ocena zużycia eksploatacyjnego kruszarki odśrodkowej typu SANDVIK CV117 pracującej w kopalni melafiru w Grzędach. Przedmiotem realizowanych badań były elementy robocze takie, jak: zespół okładzin, końcówki wirnika, młotki rozdrabniające, tuleja kierunkowa oraz przegroda dystrybutora. Wszystkie elementy miały bezpośredni kontakt z kruszywem, a czas ich eksploatacji wynosił ok 1150 motogodzin. Przeprowadzone badania obejmowały wizję lokalną z kopalni, analizy makroskopowe elementów, jak również ocenę wpływu eksploatacji na wybrane właściwości strukturalne materiału elementów. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych analiz stwierdzono, że poważnym problemem, na który narażone są wszystkie badane elementy, jest jednoczesne oddziaływanie wysokich sił tarcia oraz udarności, wynikających z energii kinetycznej rozpędzonych ziaren nadawy, nadanej za pomocą wirnika podczas pracy kruszarki.

Kruszarki odśrodkowe to kruszarki udarowe z wirnikiem o osi pionowej. Kruszarki te stosowane są w procesach rozdrabniania udarowego, zwłaszcza kruszenia średniego, drobnego i bardzo drobnego, uziarnionych surowców mineralnych oraz materiałów wytworzonych (klinkieru, żużli hutniczych i innych). Stosuje się je także w procesach uszlachetniania kruszyw jako kubizatory. Specjalne wykonania tych kruszarek użytkowane są jako młyny do mielenia, zwłaszcza selektywnego, głównie wytwarzania produktów o wąskiej klasie ziarnowej. Kruszarki te cechują duże możliwości technologiczne, w tym przydatność do rozdrabniania materiałów silnie abrazyjnych, stąd duży wzrost zainteresowania nimi użytkowników i producentów. W pracy podano elementy teorii rozdrabniania udarowego w kruszarkach odśrodkowych, klasyfikacje, opisy budowy, działania i charakterystyki techniczne najbardziej rozpowszechnionych kruszarek. Przedstawiono także ich możliwości technologiczne w procesach bardzo drobnego kruszenia surowców i uziarnionych produktów ceramicznych.

The centrifugal crushers are the impact crushers with a rotor of vertical axis. These crushers are used in the processes of impact crushing, especially medium, fine and very fine, crushing of grained minerals and manufactured materials (clinker, metallurgical slag and others). They are also used in the outward processing of aggregates. A special implementations of these crushers are used as mills for milling, particularly selective, mainly the manufacture of products with a narrow grain class. These crushers are characterized by high technological capabilities, including suitability for shredding highly abrasive materials. Hence the large increase in interest in them of the users and manufacturers. Paper presents elements of the theory of impact shredding in the centrifugal crushers, classifications, descriptions of construction, operation and technical characteristics of the most common crusher. There are also presented their technological capabilities in the processes of very fine crushing of raw materials and grained ceramic products.
