The paper presents a comparative analysis of design solutions for steel aircraft hangars in the form of transverse frame truss and arched truss. Was also discussed the economic aspect of the implementation of the whole structure together with the housing facility. Taken into account the effect of cooperation the construction and sheet metal roofing as a shield and the impact of grade changes to its less wear. The analysis showed the rank of steel consumption per m2 of construction of both buildings.
