W artykule przedstawiono proces związany z przygotowaniem geoTIFF-ów oraz określeniem wytycznych do przeprowadzenia pomiarów przekrojów korytowych rzeki. Na potrzeby prowadzenia prac geodezyjnych dokonano wyboru aparatury pomiarowej i dokonano charakterystyki terenu, przez który płynie rzeka, w celu przeprowadzenia badania w charakterystycznych miejscach kanału.

In the paper the process connected with geoTIFF files preparation and guidelines determination for river cross sections’ realization have been presented. For realization geodetic measurements geodetic equipment have been selected and the area, where the river flows, for realization measurements in individual positions has been characterized.

The assessment was carried out on the basis of hydrometric parameters at the river gauging stations of Malczyce (km 304.8) and Ścinawa (km 331.8), as well as periodic measurements of the riverbed conditions performed by the Regional Water Administration in Wrocław. This analysis was supplemented by the measurement results of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences concerning the bed load transportation on the Odra River section between Brzeg Dolny and Głogów, taking into account the erosion process of the riverbed pavement. The volume of eroded bed material in the period 1958-2005 equals about 4.5 million m3. The continual erosion has a negative impact on the navigation in the river as well as on the environment and agriculture in the valley. The solution to the problem consists in: o the one-time filling of the eroded areas with the appropriate material (on the section under survey), o the systematic feeding of the Odra riverbed with bed load, just below the Malczyce Weir, after the passage of annual floods.

Zaprezentowano wybrane rozwiązania techniczne, które utrzymując koryta rzek i potoków górskich w stanie dobrym jednocześnie zapewniają rozwój koryta wielo-nudowego, powodują odtwarzanie struktur łach korytowych, zapewniają warunki życia makrobentosowi oraz swobodną wędrówkę ryb. Rozwiązania mogą być wykorzystane do przywracania potokom cech zbliżonych do naturalnych. Przedstawiono także informacje, które mogą posłużyć projektantom i wykonawcom z branży hydrotechnicznej jako wskazówki dobrej praktyki przy utrzymaniu koryt rzecznych.

The article presents chosen technical solutions that maintain river and mountain streams beds in a good state, at the same time ensuring development of multi-current bed, allowing regeneration of sandbanks, guaranteeing living conditions for macrobentos and permitting free migration of fish. Those solutions may be used for streams in order to recreate features that are close to natural. The article also presents information that be used by designers and hydrotechnical developers as riverbeds maintenance good practices guidelins.
