Content available remote Zastosowanie fotokatalizy w syntezie metanolu z metanu
PL
Omówiono warunki prowadzenia procesu i stosowane dodatki.

A review, with 56 refs., of research progress on the prodn. of MeOH from MeH using oxide photocatalysts: W, Ti, Bi, Zn, Mo, Ni, Ce and Ga, as well as zeolites and graphene C nitrides. The process conditions were presented, in particular the light sources used, the presence/absence of an oxidant and the addn. of the so-called sacrifical reagents, capturing excess electrons in the reaction system. A fundamental scheme of photocatalysis on a semiconductor molecule was presented.

Content available remote Katalizatory dla procesu utleniającego sprzęgania metanu
PL

Content available remote Conversion methods of methyl bisulfate dissolved in oleum into methan
EN
Three methods of converting methyl bisulfate dissolved in oleum into methanol have been described. In the first one, the ester present in the oleum was hydrolyzed to methanol by adding water to the mixture. In the second method the ester was vaporized in the flowing air stream and then, methyl bisulfate vapour was absorbed in water. In the third one, the ester was separated from the post-reaction mixture by means of membrane distillation, sucked by a pump and absorbed in water. It was found that the two-stage membrane distillation was the most effective method.

Content available remote Seclective methane oxidation to organic derivatives
EN
Three methods of methane conversion into oxidants, excluding the stage of obtaining the synthesis gas, are known: partial catalytic oxidation over the heterogeneous catalysts, non-catalytic process of oxidation under pressure and methane esterification combined with hydrolysis. When taking into consideration the results of the studies on methane partial oxidation which have been conducted over a number of years, the last method seems to be the most promising one. The obtained ratio of methane conversion into methanol as the final product, comprises nearly 100% when the process is run in oleum, and platinum chloride (IV) acts as the catalyst.

The main goal of this study was to investigate the effect of chemical parameters on the reaction of methane oxidation. Partial oxidation of methane on silica suported molybdena catalyst has been studied. The chances of an increase of oxygenates yield in partial oxidation of methane to the economically efficient level were investigated. Two kinds of tests were performed: methane oxidation on MoO3/SiO2 catalyst with an addition of hydrogen and water vapour to the reaction mixture. The most profound promoting effect was exhibited by water vapour addition. The optimum selectivity toward methanol formation was found at the reaction temperature around 575 - 650°C. The physico - chemical properties of the catalyst were determined using different techniques: N2 adsorption, SEM and FT-IR.

Content available remote Konwersja metanu z ditlenkiem węgla
PL
W pracy przedstawiono termodynamiczną analizę reakcji konwersji metanu ditlenkiem węgla. Przedyskutowano mechanizm reakcji, stosowane katalizatory oraz warunki prowadzenia procesu.
EN
The presence paper presents thermodynamic analyses of carbon dioxide reforming of methane. The reaction mechanism, typical catalysts and conditions of this process were also discussed.

The effect of boron or magnesium additive to the catalyst containing molybdenum oxide on the methane conversion and the selectivity of methane oxidation to the particular products have been investigated. It has been found that the boron used as an additive, elevated the selectivity of methane oxidation to formaldehyde. The highest methane conversion wasobtainet over the Mo-0/SiO2 catalyst. For the catalysts with additives, the conversion was low. Both boron and magnesium allow the elimination of the oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide to carbon dioxide.

Content available remote Partial oxidation of methane to formaldehyde over a Mo-0/Si02 catalyst
EN
Studies on the oxidation of methane by oxygen over a Mo-O/SiO2 catalyst were performed in a vertical tubular reactor. The process was carried out over a range of temperatures from 400 to 600°C at atmospheric pressure. Both the content of oxygen in the reaction mixture and the contact time were varied. The major products of the oxidation of methane over the Mo-O/SiO, catalyst have been formaldehyde, carbon oxides, and water. The effect of temperature, contact time and methane conversion on the selectivity of methane oxidation to the respective products was studied. The mechanism of the reactions proceeding during the oxidation of methane by oxygen over this catalyst has been proposed.
