The focus of the paper is to identify risks in various areas of operation of a selected trade and production company. The risks primarily referred to threats that had direct or indirect impact on the functioning of the organisation, thence the causes of their occurrence and effects are determined. Identification of individual risks is made based on analyses of internal and external context of the enterprise. In this study, over thirty key risks were identified, in the operational and strategic area, which is related to the taking of immediate action. The final stage of the paper includes preparation of control mechanisms allowing for minimisation or elimination of the discovered risks.

The aim of the paper is to analyze the question connected with the context of the organization in the organization implemented ISO 9001:2015 system. In the paper we described the elements of the context of the organization and their influence on the activity of the firm, the needs and expectations of the interested parties and methods for monitoring the needs of the interested parties. The external and internal issues relevant to an organization are determined during management reviews. Top management assigns monitoring issues to appropriate process owners for monitoring. The process owner should monitor the issues and prepare appropriate reports indicating the methods and results of the whole monitoring process. If feasible, appropriate metrics are also advised for presenting the results.

Koncepcje biznesowe, które zakładały że przedsiębiorstwa działają tylko i wyłącznie w interesie swoich właścicieli (akcjonariuszy) spełniając tylko i wyłącznie wymagania klientów, w obecnym zmiennym otoczeniu tracą na znaczeniu. Zmiany w normie ISO 9001 opublikowane w 2015 roku a obowiązujące od roku 2018 wpisują się w ten nowy trend – wymuszając niejako na przedsiębiorcach zainteresowanie się nie tylko samymi klientami ale również zrozumieniem potrzeb i oczekiwań wszystkich stron zainteresowanych – czyli określenia kontekstu funkcjonowania organizacji. Koniecznym więc się stało dokonanie przeglądu istniejących systemów zarządzania z wdrożonym systemem jakości i dostosowanie go do nowych wymagań. Zmiany te dotknęły również przedsiębiorstwa hutnicze, które w większości mają wdrożone i certyfikowane systemy zarządzania wg. ISO 9001. W artykule przedstawiono wymagania ISO 9001:2015 związane określeniem kontekstu funkcjonowania organizacji uwzględniające czynniki wewnętrzne i zewnętrzne.

Business concepts that assumed that enterprises operate only in the interest of their owners (shareholders), meeting only the requirements of customers, in the current changing environment lose their importance. The changes to the ISO 9001 standard published in 2015 and in force since 2018 are part of this new trend - forcing entrepreneurs to some extent not only interested in the clients themselves but also understanding the needs and expectations of all stakeholders - i.e. determining the context of the organization's functioning. Therefore, it became necessary to review the existing management systems with the implemented quality system and adapt it to new requirements. These changes also affected metallurgical enterprises, which mostly have implemented and certified management systems according to ISO 9001. The article presents the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 related to the needs, requirements and demands of stakeholders.

Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja ryzyka, szans i zagrożeń organizacji w systemie zarządzania jakością oraz identyfikacja krytycznych zmiennych dla doskonalenia zarządzania ryzykiem w organizacji w kontekście wymagań standardu ISO 9001. Podejście oparte na ryzyku jest istotne do osiągnięcia skutecznego systemu zarządzania jakością. W badaniach wykorzystano analizę studiów przypadków. Badaniem zostało objęte przedsiębiorstwo odlewnicze, które posiada wdrożony system zarządzania jakością oparty na wymaganiach normy ISO 9001.

The aim of the study is to identify the risk, opportunities and threats of the organization in the quality management system and to identify critical variables to improve risk management in the context of the ISO 9001 standard requirements. The risk-based approach is important to achieve an effective quality management system. The case study analysis was used in the research. The study covered the Enterprise Foundry, which has implemented a quality management system based on the requirements of ISO 9001.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie roli i znaczenia uwarunkowań tworzących kontekst działalności przedsiębiorstwa sektora obronnego w aspekcie zmiany wymagań standardu ISO 9001. Artykuł przybliża rolę i znaczenie uwarunkowań normatywno-prawnych w zapewnieniu bezpieczeństwa przedsiębiorcy. Zarysowane zostały główne elementy tego zagadnienia z podkreśleniem uwarunkowań tworzących wyzwania stawiane organizacjom wytwarzającym sprzęt wojskowy i zapewniającym jego wsparcie techniczne podczas eksploatacji. Artykuł wyraża określone podejście badawcze w zakresie dokonywania oceny zgodności systemu zarządzania jakością w aspekcie wymagań NATO realizowanych przez Centrum Certyfikacji Jakości WAT. Na przykładzie Wojskowych Zakładów Uzbrojenia S.A. przeanalizowano działania dostosowawcze, które muszą – w świetle wymagań prawnych – zrealizować przedsiębiorcy uczestniczący w procesach pozyskiwania i wsparcia technicznego w eksploatacji sprzętu wojskowego.

The aim of this article is to present the role and importance of the conditions that make up the business context of the defense sector enterprise in terms of the ISO 9001 standard requirements. The article presents the role and the importance of normative-legal aspects in ensuring the safety of the entrepreneur. The main elements of this problem have been outlined with the emphasis on conditions that create challenges for organizations producing military equipment and providing technical support during its operation. The article expresses the specific research approach in the area of conformity assessment of the quality management system in terms of NATO requirements carried out by Centrum Certyfikacji Jakości WAT (Quality Certification Center). On the example of Wojskowe Zakłady Uzbrojenia S.A. (a defense industry company) the adaptation activities that must – in the light of legal requirements – be carried out by entrepreneurs participating in the acquisition and technical support processes in the operation of military equipment.
