The study is dedicated to land reallotment in the course of land use alteration in Ukraine. The case of the development of an individual residential block in an agricultural area is considered. The issue of the alteration of the spatial characteristics of land plots and changes in their designated use have been highlighted. The objective of the article is the substantiation of land reallotment at the level of an individual residential block on agricultural land which is privately owned by a number of landowners. The preconditions for the development of land reallotment in a rural type settlement in the suburban area of a big city have been substantiated. Alternative approaches to land reallotment have been suggested. A comparative analysis of the suggested approaches and their practical approbation have been carried out. The change of land plot spatial characteristics in the course of reallotment by means of various reallotment scenarios has been analysed. Land plot value after reallotment in each scenario has been specified. The practicability of each approach depending on the initial conditions has been substantiated. The research can be used in the course of rural settlement development planning, the coordination of measures on land use type alteration with landowners and land users, with private landowners or the implementation of local community initiatives.

One of the oldest method of soil improvement is consolidation method. For analysis of settlements it is important to take correctly vertical consolidation coefficient as well as horizontal especially in organic, anisotropic soils. Large variations of filtering organic soils characteristic is depended on direction what is very problematic in estimating representative value. In this article there was shown a comparison between Barron's and Hansbo's model results with settlements measured on the example of road realization in the context of horizontal consolidation coefficient and dimensionless time factor.

In this study, an optimization process of the spatial layout of a village from the viewpoint of minimization of distances between parcels and farming settlements is presented. It is illustrated by the data coming from the village Mściwojów, which is situated in the south-western Poland. The proposed calculation process uses linear programming methods, and the input data are the result of the processing of the ground and building registration data bases. The results indicate a wide range of application possibilities of the optimization process of the parcel layouts, at different stages of operations connected with the restructuring of spatial distributions of rural areas. In particular, it refers to the realization of conceptions of the land consolidation results which are viable in a given area.

In present economic conditions, complex land consolidation is a necessary element of competition in the European Union market as well as beyond its borders. Because international competition in agriculture is forcing production of increasingly cheaper products, it is necessary to plan optimal spatial location of land parcels with fields of the largest possible area situated relatively near habitats. This would allow to obtain low unit costs and facilitate control of the production process. Without the application of data on the spatial location of existing agricultural plots and their structure of ownership and use, proper implementation of procedures aiming at improvement of the rural spatial structure is practically impossible. The main sources of the above data include mapping and surveying resources as well as land and building registration systems, also referred to as the cadastre. Their quality, to a large extent, determines the accuracy of complex land consolidations.

The pore pressure variations that were obtained during CL consolidation tests are discussed in this paper. The comparative analysis was made on the base of observed changes to confront information on experimen-tal soil behavior with theoretical solutions of the primary (filtration) consolidation process. On the basis of obtained experimental data, the factors resulting in the incompatibility with the theoretical models, were identified and discussed in this paper. This incompatibility results from degree of saturation, conditions of dispersion of pore water pressure and load rate path.

Artykuł opisuje kilka różnych technik konsolidacji gruntów. Na wstępie przedstawiono temat iniekcji strumieniowej, tzn. JET GROUTINGU, następnie DSM, czyli DEEP MIXING, a na zakończenie TURBOJET, tj. najnowszą z metod konsolidacji gruntów wdrożoną przez firmę TREVI zaledwie kilka lat temu, będącą zarazem udanym połączeniem JET GROUTINGU i DEEP MIXINGU.

The paper presents a new method of determination of economic benefits of land consolidation of farms, which results from reduction of land parcels' number. A model method and a logical method have been applied. The discussed economic benefits have been determined by means of comparing economic evaluation of a model farm's land configuration before and after land consolidation. As a results of analysis, a mathematical formula that describes an economic benefit of land consolidation, resulting from the reduction of land parcels number, has been derived. The economic benefit is a function of the differences between the numbers of arable fields and the differences between the ares of an arable lands and green lands of a farm, before and after land consolidation, as well as constant parameters and slope of linear regression equations for the models of such fields. The benefit does not depend on the ares of farms.

W pracy przedstawiono nową metodę wyznaczenia ekonomicznej korzyści scalenia gruntów gospodarstw rolnych, wynikającej ze zmniejszenia liczby działek ewidencyjnych. Zastosowano metodę modelową i logiczną.
