Radiation conservation of works of art is irreplaceable for large collections of objects. As an example, describes the process of radiation disinfestation historical objects found in the pits of death in Charków and Miednoje. Photos presented several items that are now in the Museum of the Polish Army. Starting this year, the Museum of Katyń will have a new office in Warsaw Citadel. International Atomic Energy Agency is currently preparing a monograph on “Ionising radiation for tangible cultural heritage conservation”.
