Obecnie komputer jest podstawowym narzędziem pracy. Główną potrzebą użytkownika komputera jest pozyskiwanie, przetwarzanie oraz wykorzystywanie informacji w założonym celu. Różnorodność oraz stale rosnąca liczba sprzedanych komputerów stały się punktem wyjścia podjęcia badań z zakresu oceny atrybutów jakościowych komputerów przenośnych. Celem artykułu była ocena jakości oraz istotności atrybutów branych pod uwagę przy zakupie komputerów przenośnych (laptopów). Badanie zrealizowano metodą ankietową. Dane rejestrowano i analizowano na skalach ważności-realizacji. W rezultacie przeprowadzonej analizy zasugerowano rekomendacje doskonalenia jakości.

Today computer is a basic tool of work. Main need of computer user it to collect, process and use information for an assumed purpose. Diversity and growing number of computers sold became a starting point for conducting research considering assessment of laptop computers qualitative attributes. The aim of the paper was to evaluate quality of attributes considered by the users when purchasing a laptop computer. The research was conducted with the use of a questionnaire method. Data was registered and then analyzed with the use of importance-performance scales. As a result of the performed analysis recommendations concerning quality improvement were suggested.

Obecnie w społeczeństwie informacyjnym podstawowym narzędziem pracy, środkiem pozyskiwania, gromadzenia i przetwarzania informacji oraz komunikowania się jest komputer. Bez niego wręcz niemożliwe jest przetwarzanie i wykorzystywanie rosnących zasobów informacyjnych w organizacji. Na polskim rynku konsumenci mogą wybierać spośród przynajmniej kilkunastu marek laptopów w różnych przedziałach cenowych (od kilkuset do kilkunastu tysięcy złotych), różnych marek oraz wielu kanałów ich dystrybucji. W artykule przeanalizowano preferencje konsumentów, które stanowią podstawę do podjęcia decyzji o zakupie laptopów w aspekcie jakości. Następnie przeanalizowano ich zróżnicowanie ze względu na płeć, wykształcenie, markę oraz lojalność wobec producentów. Celem publikacji była konsumencka ocena jakości komputerów typu laptop.

Presently, in the information society a basic tool of work, a means of acquisition and processing of information and communicating is computer. Without it, impossible is the processing and using of information resources in organization. On a Polish market, customers may choose from at least a dozen brands of laptops in a various price ranges (from as low as few hundred zloty up to few thousand zloty), many brands and many ways of distribution. In the paper, customers assessment, which are the base to make a buying decision in quality aspect were analyzed. Next, the differentiation between attributes in view of variables formally characterizing a sample was analyzed. The purpose of the paper was consumer assessment of laptop computer quality.

In recent years, laptops have become very commonly used, causing a significant environmental impact. In Poland about 2 million portable computers are sold every year. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is a tool which evaluates environmental impacts associated with a product throughout its life. In this paper, a screening life cycle assessment for a personal computer - Actina laptop, assembled, used and disposed in Poland was performed. Values for eleven impact categories were provided with the application of the Eco-indicator 99 method, expressing the significance of the burden on the environment. For the whole life cycle, the most significant stage is the use phase, due to electricity consumption (over 60% of all environmental impacts) followed by the manufacturing of the product with over 37% of the share.

W referacie przedstawiono schemat ideowy układu bezstykowego zasilania komputerów przenośnych. Przedstawiono typowe konstrukcje transformatorów dla tego typu układów. Omówiono model matematyczny systemu, metody sterowania oraz wybrane wyniki symulacyjne i eksperymentalne.

This paper describes the theoretical and experimental analysis of contactless power supply for notebook. Compensation the leakage inductances is realized through adding the resonant capacitance to the primary and secondary windings of the air gap transformer. The basic compensations topologies SS series-series and SP series-parallel are presented and compared. To consider the problem of selections resonant circuit and its parameters and achieve the maximum power delivered to the load with minimum VA rating of the power supply, the mathematical model combined the primary and secondary side is developed and the total impedance seen by the power supply converter is described. For experimental validation a laboratory set-up based on 100 W half-bridge converter with air gap coupling transformer and FPGA phase shift extreme regulator has been constructed.

Komputer przenośny (laptop) jest obecnie coraz częściej stosowany w pracy zawodowej. W artykule przedstawiono ewentualne zagrożenia wynikające z pracy z tym urządzeniem, w szczególności zaś zwrócono uwagę na ryzyko występowania dolegliwości układu mięśniowo-szkieletowego wśród jego użytkowników. Problem ten jest bowiem nadal postrzegany jako jedno z istotniejszych zagrożeń w środowisku pracy.

Laptops are more and more common at work. This article discusses the possible hazards of their usage, especially the increased risk of musculoskeletal disorders. This problem is still considered to be one of the most significant hazards in the working environment.

Omówiono sposoby zasilania komputerów przenośnych typu notebook. Scharakteryzowano prototypowe rozwiązania, w których do zasilania komputerów zastosowano ogniwo paliwowe. Zaprezentowano system wytwarzania paliwa wodorowego, złożony z ogniwa fotowoltaicznego i elektrolizera wody. Przedstawione zostały wyniki obliczeń sprawności ogniwa fotowoltaicznego i elektrolizera.

Paper discussed the power supply methods to portable computers (notebooks). Prototype solutions based on the use of fuel cells as a power source to computers were characterized. The hydrogen fuel production system consisted of a photovoltaic cell and water electrolyser was presented. The computation results concerning efficiency of photovoltaic cell and electrolyser were also given.
