The goal of this paper is aimed at the computer modelling and dynamic simulation of the rail vehicle with damaged wheel and the investigation of these adverse effects on a track. The article is composed of two parts. In the first part problems about the operation of rail vehicles with damaged wheels are described. There are also mentioned diagnostic systems installed on a track for detection and assessment their negative impacts on a track. The second part of the article is dedicated to computer modelling of a rail vehicle running on the rail track with the damaged wheel, in this case with the type of damage „wheel-flat“. For these purposes the virtual model of the passenger car were created. After simulations of its running there were performed analyses needed for the evaluation of negative impacts on the rail track.

Celem tego artykułu jest modelowanie komputerowe i dynamiczna symulacja pojazdu szynowego z uszkodzonym kołem oraz badanie tych niepożądanych efektów na torze. Artykuł składa się z dwóch części. W pierwszej części opisano problemy dotyczące eksploatacji pojazdów szynowych z uszkodzonymi kołami. Istnieją również systemy diagnostyczne zainstalowane na torze w celu wykrycia i oceny ich negatywnych skutków na torze. Druga część artykułu poświęcona jest komputerowemu modelowaniu pojazdu kolejowego jadącego po torze kolejowym z uszkodzonym kołem, w tym przypadku z rodzajem uszkodzenia "koło-płaskie". W tym celu powstał wirtualny model wagonu osobowego. Po symulowaniu jego zachowania przeprowadzono analizy potrzebne do oceny negatywnych oddziaływań na tory kolejowe.
