Large sets of articles are evaluated by predefined measures such as the article numbers and h-indexes. All of these indicators are scalars and refer rather to one discipline or the comprehensive science. Thus, according to disciplinary categories in scientific databases, the distribution has become too rigid for current science needs, dynamically growing towards inter- and trans-disciplinarity. We propose a new method of calculating the impact on knowledge of articles and their citations, creating citation networks, and using one of the optimistic fuzzy aggregation norms to estimate the contribution to the knowledge considering the citation inheritance of citing papers to cited papers (paper children to the paper-parents). Due to this method, we produced the contribution vectors for various disciplines/subdisciplines based on articles and their citations of publications belonging to the considered disciplines. We can prepare the scientific profiles of papers and disciplines based on the contribution vectors. Moreover, we can evaluate how much citations matter in the development of science. Applying this method, we can estimate the contribution to the considered research field caused by papers and their citations from different areas of science. The proposed method might be applicable in the assessment of developing concepts.

Przedstawiono mechanizm transferu wiedzy i praktycznych form dyfuzji wiedzy w zakresie budownictwa prefabrykowanego na przykładzie doświadczeń Instytutu Techniki Budowlanej (ITB). Na podstawie danych statystycznych omówiono dynamikę krajowych wydatków na badania i rozwój (tzw. prace B+R). Zaprezentowano również zbiory biblioteczne ITB odnoszące się do budownictwa prefabrykowanego, w tym wielkopłytowego.

The mechanism of knowledge transfer and practical forms of diffusion of knowledge on prefabricated building is presented by example of Instytut Techniki Budowlanej (Building Research Institute). Statistical data regarding the dynamics of Research and Development (R&D) expenditure in Poland are described. Moreover, the ITB Library resources regarding prefabricated building including large-panel building structures are characterized.

Kształtowanie świadomości historycznej wśród lokalnych społeczności, to upowszechnianie wiedzy o ważnych wydarzeniach historycznych w okolicy, jak również pamięć o ludziach, którzy żyli na tym terenie, wpływając na dzisiejszy obraz regionu. Jedną z największych inicjatyw społeczno-kulturalnych w Polsce w 2017 roku będą obchody związane z 800-leciem lokacji miasta Opola. Jest ono swoistym fenomenem w Polsce, ponieważ niemal zawsze (z przerwą w latach 1945-1950, gdy było tylko miastem powiatowym) stanowiło stolicę jakiegoś bytu administracyjnego, co oczywiście sprzyjało jego rozwojowi.

The way of forming the historical awareness among local communities is various. It is implemented by disseminating knowledge about important historical events in the region and the memory of people who lived in this area and had an impact on that region. One of the biggest social-cultural initiative in Poland in 2017 will be the 800th anniversary of foundation of Opole. This city is a specific phenomenon because since its foundation it was always a capital of some administrative unit (with a short break between 1945-1950), which was beneficial for its development.

Wdrożenie nowoczesnych, niskoemisyjnych technik zawartych w katalogu Najlepszych Dostępnych Technik (BAT) pozwala na znaczne ograniczenie szkodliwego wpływu przemysłu skórzanego na środowisko. Wiedza o tych technikach jest wciąż ograniczona wśród przedsiębiorców, a głównym czynnikiem ograniczającym modernizację zakładów są względy ekonomiczne, następnie niewiedza. Opracowana i zbudowana internetowa platforma ShoeBAT stanowi kompendium wiedzy o najbardziej przyjaznych środowisku technikach w przemyśle obuwniczym i garbarskim i stanowi platformę wymiany informacji na temat BAT przyczyniając się do promocji tych technik. Badania świadomości ekologicznej, znajomości technik BAT i stopnia implementacji technik w firmach branży skórzanej, wskazują na postęp.

The implementation of modern, low-emission techniques specified in the catalogue of Best Available Techniques (BAT) allows significant reduction of the harmful effects of the leather industry on the environment. Knowledge of these techniques is still limited among entrepreneurs, and the main limiting factor for the modernization of companies are economic reasons, then ignorance. Developed and built online platform ShoeBAT is a compendium of knowledge on the most environmentally friendly techniques in the footwear and leather industry and provides a platform for exchange of information on BAT contributing to the promotion of these techniques. The study of environmental awareness, knowledge of BAT and the degree of implementation techniques in companies of the leather sector, indicate progress.

W każdej dziedzinie nauki przekazywanie i rozpowszechnianie wyników badań jest bardzo ważne, gdyż tworzy system komunikacji pomiędzy nauką a przemysłem. Przepływ wiedzy z ITG KOMAG w sferę przemysłową (praktycznych zastosowań) odbywa się poprzez upowszechnianie aktualnego stanu wiedzy, innowacji i innych osiągnięć poprzez publikacje naukowe, konferencje, seminaria szkoleniowe, a także czynny udział w targach branżowych. Coraz większe znaczenie w przekazywaniu wiedzy ma obecnie internet.

Transfer and dissemination of test results is very important in each field of science, as they create connection between science and industry. Transfer of knowledge from the KOMAG Institute of Mining Technology to industry (practical applications) is realized by dissemination of present state of the art, innovation and other achievements through scientific publications, conferences, training seminars and active participation in the fairs. At present, internet becomes more and more important tool in knowledge transfer.

W pracy przedstawiono koncepcję Regionalnego Centrum edukacyjnego, którego celem jest propagowanie idei zrównoważonego rozwoju regionalnego, przede wszystkim metod racjonalnego wykorzystania energii i zasobów naturalnych oraz nowych technologii energetycznych bazujących zarówno na odnawialnych, jak i nieodnawialnych źródłach energii. Działalność centrum wymaga zaangażowania i współpracy szeregu osób i instytucji, w tym ośrodków naukowych, lokalnych władz samorządowych, a także producentów i użytkowników energii.

The article presents the conception of Regional Center for promotion of local sustainable energy and environment development. The knowledge dissemination about rational energy and environment management, as well as promotion of new heat and power technologies based on renewable energy sources is the main goal of the Center activity. In a common sense a cooperation of local authorities, scientific units and especially small and medium enterprises is needed.
