Clothing is categorised as a seasonal product [EC Regulation KE, 2009], meaning that its production has some special characteristics. Based on an empirical study, an attempt was made to classify processes comprising the production of clothing (the research objective) by the type of operations performed by the worker. Using this criterion, four groups of production processes with similar characteristics and governed by common rules were created: manufacture, measurements and quality control, transport, and storage. Each of the groups is defined and described more in detail to systematize the knowledge of clothing production.

W artykule przedstawiono podstawy teoretyczne ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem fundamentów terminologicznych dla podejścia procesowego w przedsiębiorstwie wydobywczym. Dokonano analizy literatury, w tym przede wszystkim pojęcia proces wraz z ich podziałem typologicznym występującym we współczesnych organizacjach. Przybliżono także uczestników procesów ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli właścicieli procesów. Omówione zostały stosowane podejścia do identyfikacji i mapowania procesów. Przedstawiono również różnicę pomiędzy podejściem procesowym a funkcjonalnym. W ramach podjętych rozważań poruszone zostało także podejście do określenia parametrów procesów. Podjęte w artykule rozważania teoretyczne zostały przeniesione na grunt łańcucha wartości przedsiębiorstwa wydobywczego wraz z identyfikacją i parametryzacją procesów podstawowych zachodzących w kopalni rud miedzi. Uwzględniając powyższe kwestie zaproponowano optymalne podejście do identyfikacji i wdrażania procesów w przedsiębiorstwie wydobywczym.

The article presents the theoretical basis with particular emphasis on the foundations of terminology for the process approach in the mining company. An analysis of the literature, including in particular the concept of process along with their typological division occurring in modern organizations. Presented process participants with particular emphasis on the role of process owners. Article also presents approaches used for the identification and mapping of processes. It also presents the difference between the process approach and functional to management. Within the considerations taken approach has also been raised to determine the process parameters. Taken in the article theoretical considerations have been transposed into the value chain of the mining company including the identification and parameterization of the fundamental processes occurring in the copper mine. Taking into account the above issues, author proposed optimal approach to the identification and implementation of business processes in the mining company.

Badania wykazały, że podejście procesowe zmniejsza wewnętrzne konflikty i zwiększa poziomą koordynację działań. Zjawiska te wzmacniają z kolei współpracę wewnątrz firm i przyczyniają się do osiągania lepszych wyników biznesowych.

: Based on research, is possible to say, that process approach decreases internal conflicts and increases the horizontal coordination of activities in companies. It leads to better cooperation and business effects of firms. The Process Classification Framework was elaborated by APQC-American Productivity and Quality Center in close collaboration with many enterprises and consulting firms. The P4-method is form of deployment of presented approaches. It was verified in practical performance in the mapping of processes in some firms. The successful conclusions permited the description of methodology in the presented publication.
