Współczesna logistyka nie tylko musi nadążać za współczesnymi zmianami, ale w wielu wypadkach je wyprzedzać, spełniając oczekiwania swoich klientów. Stałym elementem działalności logistycznej powinno być badanie i prognozowanie zmian. Wymaga to jednak nie tylko dostrzeżenia nowych uwarunkowań i nowych wyzwań dla logistyki, ale ich wieloaspektowej analizy, zrozumienia wzajemnych realizacji i oddziaływania. Takie podejście służyć będzie budowaniu nowych koncepcji logistycznych, które w pełni wykorzystywać będą nowe pojawiające się możliwości wynikające z rosnącego tempa rozwoju technologicznego określanego mianem „rewolucji technologicznej”. Jakie będą najistotniejsze uwarunkowania tych koncepcji i kierunki ewolucji – trudno jednoznacznie określić - warto jednak zwrócić uwagę na kilka z nich. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie w sposób syntetyczny wybranych trendów i kierunków rozwoju polskiej logistyki ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli innowacyjności w jej rozwoju, w tym implementacji najnowszych zdobyczy techniki i technologii teleinformatycznych.

Logistics not only must keep pace with today's changes, but in many cases, stay ahead of them, meeting the expectations of its clients. A constant element of the logistics activities becomes studying and forecasting changes. However, this requires not only noticing the new circumstances and new challenges for logistics, but also multiple analysis and understanding mutual implementation and interaction. This approach will serve to build new logistics concepts that fully utilize new emerging opportunities arising from the increasing pace of technological development known as "technological revolution". It is difficult to explicitly determine what the most important determinants of these concepts and directions of evolution will be, however, a few of them are worth paying attention to. The aim of the article is to present a concise selected trends and directions of development of Polish logistics with particular emphasis on the role of innovation in its development, including the implementation of the latest technology and ICT.

Żyjemy w wieku, w którym skala jak i tempo zmian w wielu obszarach naszego życia stale rośnie. Taki stan rzeczy generuje potrzebę ciągłej analizy sytuacji i przygotowania rozwiązań, które będą adekwatne do zmieniającej się rzeczywistości, nowych potrzeb i wymagań. Dotyczy to szczególnie logistyki, której rola i znaczenie jak również zakres prowadzonych działań stale rośnie. Logistyki, która musi sprostać coraz bardziej ekstremalnym wymaganiom dotyczącym czasu, kosztów, elastyczności jak efektywności działań. Dlatego coraz częściej zderza się teraźniejszość z wizjami przyszłości i na tej podstawie kreuje się oraz tworzy nowe kierunki oraz koncepcje rozwoju logistyki, wskazując jednocześnie na te elementy, które będą miały zasadnicze znaczenie. Należy również dostrzegać, że sama logistyka w coraz szerszym wymiarze w sposób bezpośredni jak i pośredni wpływa oraz oddziałuje na gospodarkę i zachodzące w niej przemiany, generując tym samym kolejne nowe wyzwania sama dla siebie. Wskazanie tych perspektywicznych kierunków rozwoju jak i elementów, które będą decydować o skuteczności logistyki w perspektywicznych uwarunkowaniach wymaga z jednej strony racjonalnych i przemyślanych działań opartych na wiedzy i doświadczeniu wynikających z obecnych zmian z drugiej zaś strony intelektualnej odwagi w budowaniu nowych koncepcji i rozwiązań, wskazywania nowej filozofii myślenia i funkcjonowania w wielu obszarach szczególnie w aspekcie innowacyjności. W logistyce wiele działań i decyzji obarczone jest presją czasu. Dlatego nie tylko nie należy odkładać do jutra decyzji (przekształceń), które należy podjąć dziś, ale przede wszystkim z podjęciem takich działań (zmian) nie należy się spóźniać. Brak takich działań skutkuje przegraną na coraz bardziej wymagającym i konkurencyjnym rynku. Przedstawione w artkule zagadnienia są przedmiotem rozważań i badań jakie prowadzi Instytut logistyki WSB we Wrocławiu dotyczących zmian i kierunków rozwoju logistyki. Zaprezentowane w artykule rozważania stanowią kanwę do szerszej dyskusji na ten temat, szczególnie w kontekście zmian jakie czekają polską logistykę.

We live in an age in which the scale and pace of change are constantly growing in many areas of our lives. Such a state of affairs generates the need to continuously analyse the situation and to prepare solutions which will be proportionate to the changing reality, new needs and requirements. This refers, especially, to logistics, whose role and importance as well as the range of activities is growing steadily. It must meet more and more extreme requirements regarding time, cost, flexibility as well as effectiveness of activities. Therefore, present increasingly collides with future visions and, on this basis, new directions and concepts for the development of logistics are developed, and, at the same time, items which will be crucial are indicated. It is also worth noticing that logistics itself increasingly influences, directly and indirectly, the economy and the transformations taking place in it and thus generates more challenges for itself. The indication of the prospective directions of development as well as the elements that will determine the effectiveness of logistics in future conditions requires, on the one hand, rational and deliberate actions based on knowledge and experience resulting from the current changes, and, on the other hand, intellectual courage to build new concepts and solutions, to indicate a new philosophy of thinking and functioning in many areas, particularly in the context of innovativeness. In logistics, numerous activities and decisions are burdened with time pressure. Therefore, it is not only inappropriate to postpone decisions (transformations) to be taken today, but, above all, it is also inadvisable to be late with taking such measures (changes). The lack of such measures results in losing in an increasingly demanding and competitive market. The issues presented in the article are the subject of reflection and research conducted by the Institute of Logistics at Wrocław School of Banking on changes and directions of development of logistics. The reflection presented in the article provides the basis for a wider discussion on this topic, particularly in the context of changes that await our Polish logistics.

W wielu dziedzinach naszego życia dochodzi do permanentnych zmian wynikających z dynamiki rozwoju gospodarczego. Tempo zmian oraz brak możliwości racjonalnego nadążania za pojawiającymi się zmianami w coraz większym stopniu generuje potrzebę spojrzenia w przyszłość. Dlatego coraz częściej zderza się teraźniejszość z wizjami przyszłości i na tej podstawie kreuje się i tworzy nowe kierunki oraz koncepcje rozwoju wielu obszarów naszej rzeczywistości, w tym również logistyki. Wymaga to z jednej strony intelektualnej odwagi w budowaniu tych nowych koncepcji i rozwiązań, wskazywania nowej filozofii myślenia i funkcjonowania, z drugiej zaś bardzo racjonalnych i przemyślanych działań opartych na wiedzy i doświadczeniu. W logistyce wiele działań i decyzji obarczone jest presją czasu. Dlatego nie tylko nie należy odkładać do jutra decyzji (przekształceń), które należy podjąć dziś, ale przede wszystkim z podjęciem takich działań (zmian) nie należy się spóźniać. Brak takich działań skutkuje przegraną na coraz bardziej konkurencyjnym rynku. Należy również dostrzegać, że sama logistyka w coraz szerszym wymiarze w sposób bezpośredni jak i pośredni wpływa oraz oddziałuje na gospodarkę i zachodzące w niej przemiany, generując tym samym kolejne nowe wyzwania sama dla siebie. Przedstawione zagadnienia są przedmiotem rozważań zaprezentowanych w artykule i stanowią kanwę do szerszej dyskusji na ten temat, szczególnie w kontekście zmian jakie czekają nasza polską logistykę.

In many areas of our life permanent changes take place due to the dynamics of economic development. The pace of changes and the inability to rationally keep up with the emerging changes, generates an increasing need to look ahead. It is therefore more common that the presence meets the future visions and, on this basis, new directions and concepts for the development of many areas of our reality, including logistics, are created. However, this requires, on the one hand, the intellectual courage in building new concepts and solutions, indicating a new philosophy of thinking and functioning, and, on the other hand, very rational and deliberate actions based on knowledge and experience. In logistics, numerous activities and decisions are burdened with time pressure. Therefore, it is not only inappropriate to postpone decisions (transformations) to be taken today, but, above all, it is also inadvisable to be late with taking such measures (changes). The lack of such measures results in losing in an increasingly competitive market. It is also worth noticing that the very logistics is increasingly influencing, directly and indirectly, the economy and the transformations taking place in it, thus generating more challenges for itself. The issues presented in the article are the main subject of it, and provide the basis for a wider discussion on this topic, particularly in the context of changes that await our Polish logistics.
