In this paper, various techniques of the statistical process control (SPT) are presented namely: histogram, control cards, machine capability and process capability. The histogram is used to make sure that the process is statistically stable. The control cards are used to determine whether a current deviation from the norm is caused by a random or specific action. The control cards enable to indicate the process which is deregulated. In the paper, the guidelines of the application of the process capability indicator to determine whether the process is able to meet the quality requirements imposed by a customer are presented. The guidelines of the application of the machine capability indicator to indicate whether a task allocated to a machine is executed with a sufficient accuracy at the specified time are presented.

Karty kontrolne od dziesięcioleci stanowią metodę graficzną statystycznej kontroli produkcji. Przy wykonywaniu nawierzchni autostradowych szczególne znaczenie ma kontrola procesu betonowania. Stały nadzór nad jego stabilnością jest niezbędny do spełnienia warunków wytrzymałościowych. Do tego celu bardzo przydatne są karty kontrolne Shewharta tworzone w oparciu o wyniki wytrzymałości próbek betonu pobranych podczas betonowania nawierzchni.

The control charts from decades constitute the graphic method of statistical control of production. The control of the process of concreting has the special meaning while putting the highway surfaces. They regular supervision over its stability is necessary to the fulfilment of endurance conditions. For this purpose, Shewhart's control cards based on a strength results of concrete samples taken during concreting the surface are very useful.

Stosowanie kart kontrolnych typu Shewharta, np. w czynnościach sterowania procesami produkcyjnymi, staje się obarczone niepewnością narastającą z postępującym odchylaniem charakteru rozkładu cechy mierzonej i normalnego (Gaussa). Proponowana metodyka obliczeń statystycznie wyznaczanych parametrów toku procesów produkcyjnych lub podobnych wyłania bogatsze i bliższe ich naturze informacje. Opracowanie wysoko specjalistyczne.
