Celem niniejszego artykułu jest analiza aktualnego systemu informacji logistycznej w kanałach dystrybucji węgla kamiennego. Zaproponowano w nim także zmodyfikowany system informacji logistycznej dla analizowanego podmiotu badań. Podstawowym celem funkcjonowania zmodyfikowanego systemu informacji logistycznej jest realizacja sprawnego przepływu strumieni materiałowych (węgla), informacyjnych i finansowych, które warunkują skuteczną realizację procesu dystrybucji węgla kamiennego.

The purpose of this article is analysis of the current system of information logistics in coal distribution channels. It proposes the modified system of logistics information for the analyzed subject of research. The primary objective of the modified system of logistics information is the realization of the smooth flow of streams of material (carbon), information and financial services, which determine the successful execution of the process of distribution of coal.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie węgla kamiennego jako produktu logistycznego oraz przedstawienie przepływu węgla kamiennego w kanale dystrybucji.

This article discusses the characteristics of coal mining as a product logistics. In the mining industry, in terms of logistics, one of the interesting areas is the process of distribution of coal. Proper organization of the distribution should help to reduce costs and improving competitive position. It should also improve the relationship between the market partners, including the increasing customer service levels and minimize inventory.
