Information transmission over communication channels has been characterized by weighted information schemes involving probabilities and weights. Binary erasure channel has been used as an example for determination of constants in the proposed measure.

W artykule przedstawiono nowy wielostanowy model symulacyjny binarnego kanału radiokomunikacyjnego, którego parametry można wyznaczyć na podstawie parametrów charakteryzujących właściwości probabilistyczne radiowego kanału analogowego wykorzystywanego do transmisji. Proponowany model pozwala na badanie skuteczności metod kodowania kanałowego oraz na badanie symulacyjne systemów transmisyjnych, w których można pominąć występowanie interferencji międzysymbolowych w kanale cyfrowym.

In this paper there are presented new simulation multi-state binary channel model. It is shown that, on the basic of probabilistic description of analogue channel with fading of the transmitted signal and gaussian noise, there is possible to calculate the parameters of the simulation model of binary channel. Some exemplary results of calculations of binary channel characteristics and simulations of the error stream, depending on the number of states in the model are presented. It is also assumed that the fluctuations of transmitted signal in analogue channel are described by Nakagami distribution.
