In this paper auhors concerned on the statistical analysis of dependences selected anthropometric characteristics of children foot, having regard to the sex and age differences. Anthropometric data were collected on the basis of measures performed on the subjects. The obtained indexes were put into the statistical tool and the significances between age and sex of subjects were investigated. The results show that age is very strong factor, which decide about the differences. In some cases, the dimorphism phenomenon is emphasized.

W niniejszej pracy autorzy skoncentrowali się na przeprowadzeniu statystycznej analizy zależności wybranych charakterystyk antropometrycznych stóp, z uwzględnieniem ich zmienności ze względu na wiek oraz płeć. Akwizycja danych do obróbki statystycznej polegała na wykonaniu pomiarów długościowych, wysokościowych, szerokościowych oraz objętościowych stóp metodą bezpośrednią tj. na uczestniku. Zbadano siłę zależności między wartościami poszczególnych wskaźników a wiekiem i płcią uczestników. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały, że wiek jest cechą silnie różnicującą. W przypadku niektórych cech zaznacza się również zjawisko dymorfizmu płciowego.

Celem badań była analiza porównawcza parametrów stóp, postawy szermierczej względem postawy anatomicznej, oznaczanych za pomocą podoskopu komputerowego. Ocenie poddano wybrane parametry tj.: kąt Clarke’a, indeks stopy oraz współczynnik Wejsfloga. Analizowano stopę nogi zakrocznej oraz wykrocznej. Badaną grupę stanowiło 12-ścioro dzieci w wieku 6-12 lat trenujących szermierkę w ramach zajęć dodatkowych. Wyniki ujawniły asymetrię pomiędzy stronami dominującą i niedominującą oraz różnice w oznaczanych parametrach i w rozkładach nacisków stóp pomiędzy analizowanymi postawami.

The aim of the study was a comparative analysis of foot parameters, in fencing posture towards anatomical posture, determined using a podoscope software. The following parameters were analysed: Clarke angle, foot index and Wejsflog factor. Front foot and hind foot were analysed. The study group consisted of 12 children aged 6-12 years training in fencing as part of supplemental activities. The results revealed the asymmetry between dominating and non-dominant side as well as the differences in the measured parameters and the distribution of foot pressures between the analysed postures.

In the article there are presented results of the most recent measurements (carried out in 2008 - 2009) of the children 's feet, with particular attention to the longitudinal arch 's alignment, which was determined with the Clarke's angle. Comparison of obtained data with results of researches carried out in 1976 and 1999 revealed that values of the Clare's angle in children 4-6 years old measured in 2008 and 2009 (AZS) are notably lower than in the previous research. It indicates that the process of the longitudinal arch's development retards over the age of 6 years.
