This paper concentrates on widespread study of parallel manipulator. It focuses on optimal designing of manipulator which has a large number of application fields. Optimal design is an important criterion to improve the accuracy of a robot. Through optimal design a robot can achieve isotropic configurations where the condition number of its jacobian matrix equals one. In this we are also concentrating on transmission index and stiffness index along with their plots, which can affect the kinetostatic performance of the robot. In this the singularity of Gough Stewart platform is also studied.

Prawdziwe wartości parametrów cieplnych w procesie estymacji z zastosowaniem metody filtracji dynamicznej otrzymuje się, dążąc do zmniejszenia macierzy kowariancji błędów ocen, czyli im mniejsza jest ta macierz, a szczególnie jej elementy diagonalne, tym oceny są dokładniejsze. Należy podkreślić, że w procesie estymacji norma tej macierzy dąży do normy macierzy kowariancji błędów pomiarowych. Stąd wynika, że błędy ocen będą określone błędami pomiarowymi. Dlatego w pracy w celu zmniejszenia błędów pomiarowych i poprawienia dokładności estymacji parametrów termofizycznych badanego materiału wyniki pomiarów wygładzano przed estymacją. Przedstawiono wybrane wyniki analizy.

The actual values of the thermal parameters by means of dynamic filtration method are obtained approaching to decreasing of the covariance matrix of estimated errors. That is this matrix in particular her diagonal elements are lesser the estimates are more precise. It should be underline, that in the estimation process the norm of this matrix approaches the norm of the covariance matrix of the measurement errors. Hence it results, that the estimation errors are determined by measurement errors. In order to decreasing the measurement errors and to improve a precise of estimated parameters of thermophysical investigated material, the measurement results has been smoothed before estimation. Selected results of this analysis have been presented.

Znalezione ścisłe rozwiązanie zagadnienia kołowej szczeliny w poprzecznie izotropowym ośrodku sprężystym. Szczelina jest rozwierana i skrcana przez dwie siły skupione i dwa momenty skręcające, przełożone w pewnej odległości od płaszczyzny szczeliny. Otrzymano zamkniętą postać rozwiązań dla współczynników intensywności naprężeń typu I i typu III oraz dla przemieszczeń określających rozwarcia szczeliny.

The exact solution is obtained for the penny-shaped crack problem in an infinite transversely isotropic body. The crack is opened and twisted by two opposite concentrated axial forces and torques, which are applied on the two international surfaces parallel to the crack surfaces. The closed-form expressions are obtained for the stress intensity factors of Mode I and of Mode III around the crack contour and for the crack shapes after deformation.
