Przedstawiono dwudziestoletnią działalność Zespołu Transformatorów i Izolacji firmy ZPBE Energopomiar – Elektryka w dziedzinie badań diagnostycznych zarówno transformatorów energetycznych jak i izolacji tych urządzeń. Omówiono zakres badań oraz stosowaną aparaturę pomiarowo–badawczą. Przedstawiono zarys dotychczasowych i przyszłych kierunków badań i pomiarów.

Presented is the 20 years’ activity of the ZPBE Energopomiar-Elektryka Transformer and Insulation test Team in diagnostic investigations of power transformers and their insulation. Discussed is the range of these investigations and the applied measuring and test equipment. Presented is an outline of the past and future directions of research and measurements.

Izolacja transformatorów w przekształtnikach jest narażona na napięcia AC i DC. Przeprowadzono analizę wyładowań niezupełnych w izolacji z papieru olejowego w systemach napięcia stałego z obecnością składowej przemiennej. Zarejestrowano wyładowania przy użyciu oscyloskopu o paśmie 5 GHz. Badania przeprowadzona dla napięcia DC, AC oraz DC plus AC. Impulsy prądu wyładowań mają inną amplitudę, czas narastania i energię w zależności od rodzaju napięcia. Istotną sprawą jest napięcia. Zaproponowano efektywna metodą monitorowania jakości izolacji transformatorów w przekształtnikach.

The insulation of converter transformer is stressed by AC and DC voltages. To investigate partial discharge (PD) characteristic of oilpaper insulation, this paper designed a power source system of DC superimposed AC voltage. The testing sample is an air gap model in the middle of an insulation cardboard. A broadband current transformer is used to measure PD current recorded by an oscilloscope with a bandwidth of 5 GHz. Experiments are performed under AC,DC only, and DC superimposed AC voltages with the sample immersed in transformer oil using electrode configurations that is parallel plate. The single PD pulses are anglicized by ORIGIN software. It is realized that the impulse current signals generated due to partial discharges under AC and DC voltages are different with amplitude, rise time, counts, duration and energy content PD pulse under AC voltage is of long duration pulse compared to that generated under DC voltage, and the PD pulse under DC superimposed AC voltage is stochastic. The key point is the moment (phase position) PD occurring moves to the zero point of the applied voltage than the case only under ac voltage. These will contribute to the development of effective PD monitoring systems for oil-insulated converter transformer.

W artykule podjęto próbę wyjaśnienia pewnych anomalii występujących przy testowaniu izolacji transformatorów elektroenergetycznych za pomocą współczynnika absorpcji R60/R15. Przedstawiono wyniki badań symulacyjnych zmian współczynnika absorpcji, spowodowanych zmianami przewodności oraz wymiarów geometrycznych jednego z komponentów układu izolacyjnego, jakim jest izolacja papierowa, a ponadto - wyniki badań wpływu zmian temperatury. Sformułowano wnioski szczegółowe, pozwalające zinterpretować wyniki przeprowadzanych testów izolacji (wraz z ew. anomaliami), a ponadto - wnioski ogólne, dotyczące stosowania współczynnika absorpcji R60/R15 do oceny stanu izolacji transformatorów.

An attempt to explain some anomalies present when testing power transformers by means of the R60/R15 absorption coefficient has been made in the paper. Results of simulations of the absorption coefficient changes caused by changes of conductivity and geometric dimensions of the paper insulation have been presented. Moreover, influence of the temperature changes has been discussed. The detailed conclusions enabling to put the proper interpretation on the obtained results (together with possible anomalies) as well as the general conclusions dealing with use of the R60/R15 absorption coefficient for transformer insulation condition evaluation have been formulated.

W artykule przedstawiono opis miernika współczynnika absorpcji izolacji z zasilaniem bateryjnym oraz układem mikroprocesorowym - sterującym przebiegiem pomiaru. Przedstawiono również wybrane wyniki badań wykonanego modelu miernika.

The paper presents the description of an insulation absorption coefficient meter with a battery supply and microprocessor circuit. The microprocessor circuit controls the measurement procedure. The chosen results of investigations of the meter prototype are given in the paper as well.
