W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badania procesu migracji wartości w odniesieniu do giełdowych spółek, reprezentujących sektor przemysłowy. Podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie: czy spółki przemysłowe są pozytywnie oceniane przez inwestorów giełdowych i kreują wartość dla właścicieli? Analiza obejmuje okres 2011-2015, a badaniu poddano 113 spółek. Wykazano, że spółki sprywatyzowane prezentują się korzystniej w porównaniu do spółek z udziałem Skarbu Państwa i na tle ogółu spółek giełdowych.

The paper presents results of value migration process of stock – exchange’s industrial companies’ analysis. The answer to following question has been attempted: Are industrial companies are evaluated positively by investors and are they creating value for their owners. The analysis covers 2011-2015 years for 113 companies. The results show that private entities are in better condition than state treasury’s companies and whole stock – exchange companies.

Candlestick charts are graphic presentation of a situation between supply ami demand and a trends on the market, but they are more precise than bar charts. Therefore they may point a moment for a transaction more accurately. Because of a huge amount of data generated by stock market services, self reliant searching for the formations, that may be the predictors of trend changing or signals for a transaction may be possible only when focusing observation field on few stocks' quotations. Only expert investor may correctly recognize current formations because of their the different shapes and types. A decision support system, that would be able to search through a huge amount of dynamically changing data and automatically find formations being essential signals from an investor's point of view would be a very helpful especially for beginner investors. The formalization of a dependencies describing single candlestick or a formation of them is the first step for creation algorithms that would become the core of such information system.
