Purpose: This article aims to determine the significance of cooperation between final purchasers and offerors in the process of creating a marketing offer, as well as identify the dependencies between this cooperation and purchasers’ trust in products, according to the scope of purchasers’ involvement in their preparation. Design/methodology/approach: The results of a cognitive-critical analysis of the world literature on the subject indicate a cognitive and research gap in this area. Until now, cooperation between final purchasers and offerors has not been examined in the context of mutual trust. In order to reduce the gap, empirical studies were conducted, in which a questionnaire was used to gather primary data. The data was subjected to a quantitative analysis, including statistical analysis. Findings: The results made it possible to verify three research hypotheses and draw conclusions of cognitive and applicability value. Statistically significant dependencies were identified between respondents’ trust in products and three analysed variables reflecting their attitudes towards cooperation with offerors and their prosumptive behaviours. The relatively strongest dependence is visible between trust in products according to the scope of respondents’ involvement in their preparation and respondents’ willingness to cooperate with producers. Research limitations/implications: The research has certain limitations, such as its subjective and objective scope. It comprised only adult final purchasers and the analysis comprised only selected aspects of cooperation between final purchasers and offerors. Originality/value: The results of the research contribute to the theory and practice of marketing and consumer behaviour, reducing the cognitive and research gap in the analysis of this cooperation in the context of trust in products.

Artykuł porusza tematykę pielęgnacji historycznych założeń ogrodowych, w tym funkcjonujących jako przestrzenie publiczne, zabytkowych parków. Szczególną uwagę poświęcono idei włączania seniorów w opiekę i pielęgnację zabytkowych założeń parkowych. Wskazane są wzajemne obustronne korzyści jakie mogą wyniknąć, ze współpracy między opiekunami zabytkowych obiektów, a zorganizowanymi grupami seniorów, którzy działaliby w ramach wolontariatu, fundacji bądź symbolicznego wynagrodzenia. Mogą one mieć przełożenie na poprawę stanu historycznych założeń ogrodowych jak i pozytywny wpływ na stan zdrowia fizycznego i psychicznego osób starszych.

Representation of employee interests is addressed, as reflected in the modern human resource management concepts. By attending to the need of respecting employee interests, companies may greatly increase their chances of reaching company business objectives and increase their effectiveness, as a result of improved employee involvement. Direct and indirect expressions of this aspect in modern HRM concepts are discussed. Specifics of local approaches to the realization of employee interests are discussed, based on empirical studies of more than 200 companies operating in the Lower Silesia region of Poland. Based on the study results, the authors demonstrate that the practice of management in the area under study is only in part consistent with the model representations of human resource management, as recommended in professional literature.

The Company's objectives here are facilitated by an array of communication tools, including open workshops, road shows and residents meetings in areas covered by the Company's exploration projects, as well as study visits to drilling sites and information and education campaigns in both local and nationwide media. Other tools employed by the Company to educate the public on the subject include the dedicated website at www.lupkipolskie.pl and a regular newsletter sent out to subscribers, intended as publicly accessible sources of easy-to-understand information on shale gas. The present article ends with a summary of the findings of a survey, conducted at PGNiG request by an independent research institute, which sheds light on the shift in perception of shale gas production by the inhabitants of areas where production projects might actually be launched.

This study was carried out to assess Future Workshop (FW) regarding its usefulness as a participatory ergonomics method, using a descriptive evaluation design analysed by phenomenographical approach. The study was conducted among professional cleaners, health care personnel and miners, with a sample of 105 participating subjects in 8 different FWs. Multiple methods, giving a combination of both qualitative and quantitative data, were used for data collection. Good involvement of participants was observed during workshops. Evaluations immediately after FWs and 3 months later showed a strong relationship with high correlation, indicating that the perception of FW participants was very positive. Interviews revealed conformity between developed problem identification and proposed changes. Participants’ own perceptions of FW’s influence on creativity depict their belief of developed ideas and solutions in order to identify and solve workplace problems. FW is considered to be a useful ergonomics tool, and its qualities are related to structure and practical performance.
