Zasadniczo w każdym procesie inwestycyjnym obok uczestników procesu inwestycyjnego: inwestora, inspektora nadzoru inwestorskiego, projektanta i kierownika budowy równie istotną rolę odgrywa geodeta. Wykonuje on szereg czynności na każdym etapie realizacji inwestycji budowlanej.
