The changing legal conditions for soil investigation are reflected in the practice of their implementation. This, in turn, affects the quality of the investigation results, and ultimately the possibility of obtaining a picture of soil conditions close to reality. Under the current legal framework, three types of soil investigation reports are prepared. It is important to stage their implementation correctly. The amendment to the Construction Law in 2020 may facilitate this, provided that the role of the Geotechnical Opinion in the soil testing process is increased and the proper investor's supervision over the soil investigations is ensured.

Roboty remontowe niezwiązane z ingerencją w konstrukcję budynku często wykonywane są bez stałego nadzoru inwestorskiego. W wielu przypadkach roboty te są wykonywane bez należytej dokumentacji projektowej i wsparcia projektanta. Dopiero na potrzeby odbioru przez inwestora zapraszani są specjaliści, którzy nie zawsze posiadają wiedzę o ustaleniach między inwestorem a wykonawcą oraz o przebiegu inwestycji. Artykuł porusza najczęściej spotykane problemy występujące podczas odbiorów robót remontowych.

Renovation works that are not related to interference in the construction of the building are often carried out without constant investor supervision. In many cases, these works are made without proper design documentation and designer's support. Only for the needs of receiving by the investor are invited specialists who do not always have knowledge about the arrangements between the investor and the contractor and the course of the investment. The article deals with the most common problems during the acceptance of renovation works.

This paper presents requirements for the investor’s supervision inspector. The scope of rights and duties of the investor’s supervision inspector is discussed in detail, taking into account the conditions must fulfill, when the historical buildings is renovating.
