Purpose: The purpose of the article is to identify the potential investment attractiveness of Poland's voivodeships in the context of the real estate market, and to compare this attractiveness with the actual attractiveness, i.e. with the opinions of enterprises regarding the determinants of making an investment in a particular location. Design/methodology/approach: The measurement of the potential investment attractiveness of Poland's voivodeships in the context of the real estate market was made on the basis of secondary data derived from reports of the Central Statistical Office, the Bank of Local Data and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. The identification of investment attractiveness was made on the basis of the numerical values of the synthetic index. Thus, four classes of voivodeships (A, B, C, D) were distinguished. The study of actual investment attractiveness was a primary survey and was conducted in two stages in the second half of 2022. The survey used proprietary research tools. To the first – expert survey, enterprises operating in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region and entities representing the business environment were invited. In turn, the second stage of the research procedure covered the full set of enterprises with foreign capital, based in the voivodeship. Findings: The highest level of potential investment attractiveness in the context of the real estate market (class A) is characterized by 8 Polish voivodeships: łódzkie, lubelskie, kujawsko 28 pomorskie, opolskie, wielkopolskie, śląskie, dolnośląskie and podkarpackie. A study of real investment attractiveness conducted among companies that have placed capital in Kujawsko 30 Pomorskie Voivodeship confirmed the importance of location factors related to the real estate market. In the ranking of factors influencing investment attractiveness, the described characteristics of the real estate market received high marks. Research limitations/implications: Due to the variability over time of the determinants of business location choice, studies to identify them should be conducted successively. It should also be noted that due to the variability of assessments of investment attractiveness determined by the specifics of businesses, it is reasonable to take into account its types in future studies. A serious problem is the limitations in access to data, as well as the growing reluctance of entrepreneurs to participate in surveys.

The article is devoted to the choice of pricing strategies depending on the evaluation of the investment attractiveness of the company. Assessment of investment attractiveness was held on the example of Ukrainian railcar using the following indicators: PIE-ratio; figure PEG; PSR ratio. Analysis of investment attractiveness of the shares of indicators allowed to identify the main objectives of the investor, which is formed according to the investment strategy. In the context of investment strategies have been proposed to use pricing strategies that are correlated with the pricing objectives. The result of the study was to develop a matrix interconnection pricing strategy with the investment objectives of the enterprise.

Artykuł poświęcony jest problemowi wyboru strategii cenowej w zależności od oceny atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej firmy. Ocenę atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej przeprowadzono na przykładzie ukraińskiego budownictwa samochodowego za pomocą następujących wskaźników: wskaźnik P / E; PEG; Współczynnik PSR. Analiza wskaźników atrakcyj­ności inwestycyjnej akcji pozwoliła zidentyfikować główne cele inwestora, zgodnie z którymi tworzona jest strategia inwestycyjna. W kontekście strategii inwestycyjnych sugerowano stosowanie strategii cenowych, które korelują z celami cenowymi. Rezultatem badania było opracowanie matrycy związku między strategiami cenowymi a celami inwestycyjnymi firmy.

In modern conditions of urban development, there is a need to improve the technology for determining the investment attractiveness of urban lands by developing a method and models for assessing its impact, which will be based on the construction of a two-level system of indicators, which will determine the integral investment criterion and develop guidelines for improving the investment attractiveness of urban lands. As a result of the research, the value of the integral indicator of urban land investment attractiveness was determined, which allowed to apply it in the system of normative monetary valuation of urban land and to develop methodological recommendations for improving the efficiency of its investment attractiveness assessment. A method for assessing the investment attractiveness of urban land, as the main element of technology, based on the determination of indicators for assessing the integral criterion for the development of guidelines for improving the urban land investment attractiveness is developed. By the value of the integral criterion, the integral indicators of the potential investment attractiveness of urban lands are determined, considering the changes in the normative monetary value of the lands of settlements and the level of investment attractiveness of the regional centers of Ukraine is determined.

Improving the technology for determining the investment attractiveness of urban land requires the development and implementation of an integrated assessment method. In this context, the formation of a system of indicators used for the integral assessment is very important. Based on the two-level system of factors proposed in the article, which influence the formation of investment attractiveness of urban land and using a hierarchical classification method, an appropriate system of indicators is constructed. The transition from factors to indicators is ensured by the established causal dependence, which characterizes the causal relationships between factors and functional-planning, territorial indicators, indicators of engineering and territory improvement, indicators of ecology, historical and cultural significance. In article it is proposed to consider the information support as a set of functional-planning, territorial, engineering support and improvement of the territory, environment, ecology, historical and cultural indicators, which are formed on the basis of normative legal acts, systematization of theoretical and methodological provisions, considering technological features and factors, which affect the investment attractiveness of land. Considering the existing directions for the implementation of technology for assessing the investment attractiveness of urban land, the economic, spatial, complex, multifactorial, rating approaches and approach based on the tools and results of mathematical modelling, considering technical, environmental, social and economic factors, which influence the investment attractiveness of urban land have been proposed.

W artykule podjęto próbę oceny wpływu inwestycji zagranicznych na konkurencyjność gospodarki Ukrainy. Rynek inwestycyjny Ukrainy charakteryzuje się dynamicznym rozwojem, dużym zapotrzebowaniem na zasoby inwestycyjne i wystarczająco wysokim poziomem zainteresowania inwestorów zagranicznych, a także atrakcyjnością inwestycyjną, co potwierdzają dane statystyczne o bezpośrednich inwestycjach zagranicznych za pierwsze półrocze 2016. Podkreślono zależność konkurencyjności gospodarki państwa od aktywizacji rynku inwestycyjnego, atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej krajowych przedsiębiorstw i akumulacji zasobów inwestycyjnych.

Expediency of bringing in of investments is reasonable in the economy of Ukraine. Influences of the of investment activity are studied on the level of competitiveness of state. The dynamics of investment market of Ukraine, which is characterized by dynamic development, high demand on investment resources and high enough level of the personal interest of foreign investors and investment attractiveness, is investigational, that statistical by data of of direct foreign investments is confirmed to Ukraine for the first half - year 2016. Direct foreign investments (equity) are analysed from the countries of the world in the economy of Ukraine after 2015 dependence of competitiveness of economy of the state is Set on the investment attractiveness of domestic enterprises, accumulation of investment resources. Suggestions are brought in in relation to the increase of investment attractiveness.

W artykule, w części teoretycznej przedstawiono istotę pojęcia lokalizacji bezpośrednich inwestycji zagranicznych (BIZ). Zdefiniowano również atrakcyjność inwestycyjną oraz scharakteryzowano jej podstawowe czynniki, które wpływają na zakres i poziom ryzyka lokalizacji BIZ. Są to takie czynniki jak: dostępność transportowa, koszty pracy, wielkość i jakość zasobów pracy, chłonność rynku zbytu, poziom rozwoju infrastruktury gospodarczej i społecznej, poziom rozwoju gospodarczego, poziom bezpieczeństwa powszechnego, aktywność obszaru względem inwestorów. W części empirycznej przedstawiono wyniki badań firmy doradczej Ernst & Young, dotyczące ryzyka lokalizacji BIZ w Polsce w kontekście przepływów kapitałowych w Europie i na świecie.

The theoretical part of the paper presents the essence of the concept of the location of foreign direct investment (FDI). Investment attractiveness is defined and the basic factors thereof affecting the extent and level of risk related to the FDI location are characterized. The factors include transport availability, labour costs, the size and quality of labour resources, the product marketability, the level of the economic and social infrastructure development, the level of economic development, the level of general security and the investor oriented activity of the area. The empirical part presents the results of the study conducted by the Ernst & Young consultancy company on the risk related to the FDI location in Poland in the context of capital flows in Europe and worldwide.

The mining sector is one of the most important element of economies in the world, having a huge impact on the economic situation in individual countries. The development at any level would be impossible without access to the most important energy resources, chemical, metal or construction. Therefore, the condition and the possibility of the development of the mining sector in each country should be constantly monitored and properly shaped. On the other hand, to ensure the proper stimulation of growth and the inflow of new capital investments are necessary. Consequently, an appropriate level of investment attractiveness is an important issue both in the context of the sector and the entire economy. The article presents the concept of investment attractiveness and the current situation of the mining sector in Poland. A very important part of the paper is also presented the results of the survey of the analysis of factors, barriers and conditions that affect the attractiveness of mining investment in Poland.

Celem pracy było opracowanie mapy atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej gminy Tarnowo Podgórne. Podstawą do jej utworzenia była analiza czynników wpływających na wartość nieruchomości niezabudowanych na obszarze gminy. Wykorzystano dane z lat 2010–2013, pozyskane z Powiatowego Ośrodka Dokumentacji Geodezyjnej i Kartograficznej w Poznaniu. Zebrane dane zostały poddane analizie przestrzennej, przy użyciu programu QGIS 2.12.1, a także analizie statystycznej, za pomocą regresji wielorakiej. Badania pozwoliły wyróżnić czynniki istotnie wpływające na wartość nieruchomości oraz określić stopień ich oddziaływania.

The aim of the study was to creating the map of investment attractiveness of Tarnowo Podgórne community. The basis for creating the map was the analysis of the factors affecting the value of undeveloped property in the area of Tarnowo Podgórne. The study analyses the material from the years 2010–2013, which are obtained from the District Centre of Geodesy and Cartography Documentation in Poznan. To realise this aim two types of analyses were performed: spatial with the QGIS 2.12.0 Lyon programme and statistical using multiple regression. Results of investigation showed which of the isolated factors have the greatest influence on the value of building land in the Tarnowo Podgórne community.

The value of rating activity usage in terms of evaluation of enterprises investment attractiveness is grounded. There is proved the necessity of enterprises rating evaluation within financial, economic, technological, productive, HR and market areas and it is outlined the indicator content of each area to provide multi-criteria rating activity.

Today, enterprises operate under the fierce competition. So, there is a need of quick reaction on changes in external environment, and improvement of the performance. Constant development is the key to success for any organization. However, this process requires investment - the growth engine for the company. The only way to attract the capital and strengthen market positions is raising the level of the investment appeal. Approaches determination of the investment attractiveness evaluation, gives a deeper understanding of this economic category, and as a consequence the possibility of effective investment attractiveness management - one of the main tasks for any enterprise.

Obecnie przedsiębiorstwa działają w warunkach ostrej konkurencji. Tak więc istnieje potrzeba szybkiego reagowania na zmiany w otoczeniu zewnętrznym i poprawa wydajności. Ciągły rozwój jest kluczem do sukcesu każdej organizacji. Jednakże proces ten wymaga inwestycji - silnika rozwoju organizacji. Jedynym sposobem aby przyciągnąć kapitał i umocnić pozycję na rynku jest podniesienie atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej. Określenie podejścia do oceny atrakcyjności inwestycyjnej daje lepsze zrozumienie tej kategorii ekonomicznej a w konsekwencji możliwość efektywnego zarządzania atrakcyjnością inwestycyjną - jako jedno z głównych zadań każdego przedsiębiorstwa.
