The progression of the industry, alongside the continuous enhancement of operational efficiency and the reduction of production costs, is paving the way for novel solutions in the realm of storage and transportation systems. The incorporation of new technologies and solutions, such as mobile robots, has culminated in the establishment of Smart Warehouses. It facilitates the reduction of non-value adding activities for companies. One of the methods of improving the efficiency of such systems is the more effective use of autonomous mobile robots. The article presents an inventive concept of an autonomous mobile robot capable of undertaking transport tasks both on the shop floor and within high-bay warehouses. The new concept of the drive mechanism enables it to navigate on surfaces and move along rail guides. By using an elevator, the robot can be lifted to higher levels within the warehouse. The well-conceived structural solution of the robot allows the elevator's placement anywhere within the warehouse, eliminating the need for constructing a pit. The use of a mobile robot with the proposed structure will enable the execution of transport tasks without necessitating reloading. Such an approach has the potential to increase efficiency and reduce the costs of storage processes.

The article focuses on the role of modern logistics 4.0 technologies and lean management in optimizing ancillary processes in intralogistics. The literature review presents critical aspects of intralogistics, including using autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and the challenges associated with their successful implementation. The article also discusses the concepts of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. highlighting the importance of synergies between workers and advanced technologies. In optimizing logistics processes, the authors emphasize the importance of lean management and tools such as 5S and Kaizen. The authors analyze the research gap related to the organization of auxiliary processes, intralogistics, and the introduction of modern technologies. The lack of good practices and strategies for implementing new technologies for ancillary processes makes this a critical issue for managers and production engineers. The article provides practical strategies that can be implemented in companies. It is a valuable resource for managers seeking to manage intralogistics and effectively improve support processes in manufacturing plants. In summary, the article provides a comprehensive look at modern approaches to optimizing support processes in internal logistics. It highlights the importance of integrating modern logistics technologies with lean management principles, which can increase companies' efficiency and competitiveness.

W artykule podjęto problematykę wdrażania nowych rozwiązań technologicznych w dziedzinie automatyzacji w zakładach produkcyjnych. Sporządzono prognozę możliwych kierunków rozwoju robotyzacji oraz wyszczególniono najczęściej stosowane metody. Rozwinięto kwestię transportu wewnętrznego w przestrzeniach magazynowych. Opisano wpływ mobilnych robotów na zmiany organizacji pracy w zakładach produkcyjnych. Przybliżono jedno z możliwych rodzaju trans portu wewnątrzzakładowego, z uwzględnieniem jego mocnych i słabych stron. Celem artykułu była analiza porównawcza zastosowania automatyzowanego systemu transportu wewnętrznego oraz tradycyjnego oraz kalkulacja korzyści wynikających z minimalizacji kosztów energii i płac.

The article presents the problem of introducing a new, technological solutions in the field of automation in production plants. The prediction of possible direction of robotization’s development were made in the project and the most commonly used methods were detailed. Theme of a works transport in the warehouse’s areas was built up. In the article is described influence of a mobile robots on changes in a system of work production companies. There is also highlighted one of possible mean of in-company transport, with counting its weaknesses and assets. The main aim of the article was a comparative analysis of using a robotize and traditional system of in-company transport and the estimate of benefits, which are results from minimization costs of the energy and salaries.
